I know it’s a long shot, but we have a lot of Toyota fans here.

By “Good” I mean “sell for msrp plus $1000 dealer fee”  or similar.

If anyone knows a good Honda or Subaru dealer, in that area, that might work as well.   Thanks.

I bought our Corolla Hybrid from Gettel Toyota of Bradenton for several thousand under MSRP. They do charge all this dealer crap on top and tell them you don't want them and wont be paying for them. Go on tho their website search the inventory. If you find something you like use the chat function. Ask them what is the internet price for that model   tell them you want the price of the vehicle INCLUDING everything but taxes and registration. Tell them you don't want any dealer add ons.  ask the persons name...ask for their number...take a picture of the quote.  If you like it then call and getting EVERYTHING in writing first before you drive down. It worked great for me

I'll tell you right now new toyota vehicles are a shit show rn!

I bought a 23 tundra november 2022 and was promised a 2nd key fob in 2 weeks, and I still don't have it. every time i go into the dealer i bring it up and make a big deal of it and they dont give two shits.

if you go toyota you better have anything you want or that's promised to you in your hand before leaving!

We just got a new Toyota three weeks ago and we're told the same thing. Are fobs available to purchase separately?

I can't say, when I wanted to buy my 4Runner they all wanted dealer premiums. Ended up having to ship one in from out of the state.

As for the 2nd key debacle, I got letter in the mail a few weeks ago with details on how to get a new key. Haven't tried getting one yet, but I'm not surprised is a disaster.

If you're looking for a more popular model and they are not adding a dealer adjustment then go with them.

Toyota RAV-4 Hybrids are still a 4 month wait (was 6 months when I brought mine summer of 22) but "honest" dealerships stopped adding a dealer adjustment for them at the end of last year.

A friend of mine has brought 2 since January 2023 and got both at MSRP but had to wait 4 months and put down a 1K deposit.

I've bought 2 vehicles from Toyota of Orlando (both used) so I can't speak to new pricing but no complaints.

Have you been happy with it?    The forums seem to indicate teething pains?

I am happy with it.   I get 46 mpg avg in the summer, and 38 in the winter.  If you're in Florida you will do better.

The one major issue with it was there was an issue until mid 2023 with the rear high voltage cable corroding in climates that use road salt (again no issue in Florida).

To fix this costs around $6,000 and Toyota initially said it was not covered under the 8 year/80K warranty of the hybrid system (which is ridiculous as this cable is only on the Hybrid models).  Toyota tried to say this is only  3 years/30K coverage under the warranty.
Toyota was threatened with a class action suit, and Canada may have actually initiated one, so Toyota back pedaled and sent a warranty extension to everyone stating it would cover the repair for 8 years/80K.

Bought new there.  They seem to be the easiest to deal with, as Toyota dealers are kings of fuck fuck games.

I’m sure if you’re looking for an unobtainable hybrid rav4, there’s gonna be a markup.

Toyota dealers are buying back their trucks and marking them up 10,000 or more

Someone buys a truck, puts 3000 miles on it, dealer calls and offers $5000,00 more than what they paid including a new truck.

Guy sells the truck to Toyota, they give $5000.00 to guy and a new truck.

Dealer marks it up 10,000 to 15,000 above MSP

No new trucks and only inflated prices for used.

I paid a 2K markup last summer (ordered in July, arrived early November) as every dealer in the area said 2K markup for the Hybrid version, but a friend of mine brought one in Jan 23 and another in Sept 23, both for MSRP, but there was a 4 month wait between order and delivery.

I drove from the west coast ( Bradenton) to the east coast to buy from Earl Stewards.  One price, no haggle.  Take it or leave it.

Try AutoNation in Winter Park.

While they do have a mark up they were very transparent about there prices.

Other dealerships are advertising one price but they have a different price on the window then the advertised price.

This. Earl Stewart is great. Not the closest Toyota dealer to me, but worth the trip as they don’t play games.

I haven't checked personally, but other Toyota vehicle forum members have reported that they are available to purchase...smart keys (like what most newer models have) range from $200-$500 then the service charge for pairing/ programing the thing.

How is the selection now?  When I was looking last year, vehicle inventory was more of a problem that price surcharges.

I have never had any luck with Toyota dealers around Orlando. Plan on buying from another area like Tampa/St Pete. I recommend Autonation Pinellas Park. Ask for Jay.

Chip shortage.
They're shipping with one and (should be) giving you a "we owe" for the second.
I guess I was lucky to get two last October, my cousin bought a corolla cross in December and is still waiting for the other fob.

I knew Gettel was a shit show with the haggle but when I did it on the chat feature of the website it took 2 minutes to get a price that was unbeatable. The downside is SouthEast Toyota's extended warranties are all price fixed so it doesnt matter which dealer you buy that from  they are all the same price
You can't get a Toyota cheaper than Gettel. We bought two Corolla hybrids from them...one for 20K plus tax and title/registration and the other 21K plus tax and title/registration. No one was else willing to come with in $3500 of that price.

This is what I’m looking for.  I hate the games. No time for them.

I’ll try Gettel and the others mentioned too.
