My publisher has the first book in my Drop Trooper series free for the week. If you like military science fiction, give it a look.

Already have the ebook and the audio book.
Now, if you want to send me a signed physical copy, I wouldn't say no. ![]() |

Nice
Thanks for sharing this! Got the free book but I’m so very tempted to get the audiobook as well. Anyone that has it thinks it’s a good narration? |

I'm weak. The next 8 were $0.99, so I snarfed them up too. :-)

Now 12 is out so I am just hoping that there will be a 13 and beyond (though I know all good things have to come to an end and I’ll have to find a new series…but that’s how I got to Drop Trooper from Earth at War) |

There are going to be at least 16 in the series. I was actually just talking about that with the publishers and we're going to wait and see how book 15 does. If it does well, we might take the thing to 20, but otherwise, I'll likely wind it up with book 16. But be sure to read Acheron, Recon and the upcoming Psi War series because they're all going to play into books 15-16. |

Recommended!
OP, I've just started Recon, with The Hunter next in queue. Keep 'em coming! Edit: And Blue Force hit my Kindle this morning. ![]() |

Thanks man!
On another note, how many books do you have out now? I’m always getting notifications that you just released another one. |

Thanks, I have planned on reading some of your stuff for quite some time.

View Quote I currently have 55 books that are available to buy that I personally wrote every word. 6 of these are listed as having cowriters because in 3 of them (the Mech Force trilogy), someone else came up with the idea for the story but I wrote it and in 3 others, (the Sunkiller trilogy) the "cowriter" is actually the publisher but the plot and words are all mine. There are 4 more out that I cowrote with someone and gave them a detailed outline while they wrote the actual prose (those would be the Space Hunter series). There are also 7 more books that I've written but are not out yet. |

Thank you, Cousin Rik, I've been meaning to dig into these for a while and this sounds like a great kickoff-- really enjoyed the Duty, Honor, Planet line. Much appreciated.
ETA-- To clarify, cousin in the Southern familiar sense no relation lol |

The first ~8 books of the drop trooper series got me through the first 1/3 of my first deployment, and ive been hooked on your worldbuilding ever since.
However, and I pose this question with the utmost respect, your previous comment in this thread about various other stories helping finish off the drop trooper storyline… do you mean it would be necessary to read them to finish the overall arc, or they will provide supplementary content? Because if its the former, I feel thats akin to being told to wash the dishes after I had already decided to do it. I was going to do it in the first place, but now that ive been TOLD to, im unhappy about it. ![]() ![]() |

I would point out that Psi War is some of my best writing, at least in my opinion. If you've read the Birthright series, Psi War book 2 brings back Caleb Mitchell, Deke Conner and the rest. |

Thanks OP, grabbed a copy!
I've been working through Earth at War series via Audible, and just finished the second. I'll put this series next in the list! |

I liked it enough to start this one. The ending sold me on continuing. I like the premise of the story. It feels like a lot sometimes though. Terrible odds solved simply with reckless abandonment. Which is fine occasionally.
Definitely some room for honing in the writing style imo. But that can be personal preference of the reader. Honestly I haven’t put my finger on exactly whats missing. Maybe more development of the mini plots. |

Quoted: How do you like the narrator? I like him. I've heard some people say that they don't care for him. I don't care for the fact that he's been slow as shit getting us books 9-11. View Quote I am not a big fan of the narrator of drop trooper series. He is “just ok”. He reads through the words without really telling the story. Just a simple flow, not much in the way of feeling or even possibly understanding the feel of the scene. |

Amazon was kind enough to inform me that I already own it.

Bought the first 9 books in the series on amazon kindle app. Ebooks aren't really my thing as I like to have physical copies but I wanted too support you and the paperbacks were already on my wish list. Thank you for book 1. I am sure it will be an enjoyable read. Cheers
ETA, bought quite a few more titles. I have some reading ahead of me. Thanks again |
