I'm getting ready to make normal kombucha cause I'm sick of over paying for fermented tea and was thinking, why not try and make a batch of it alcoholic.. I'm in love with sours, so why not.

Watched a couple videos and it looks easy but was just wondering if anyones experimented. Any tips or tricks? Recipes? What yeast did you go with?

Old thread, but I started this year. It's very easy compared to beer making. I usually dont even add fruit. I like it plain.

A friend gave me starter liquid and a scoby so I didnt use any yeast.
