I have the day off from work, planned to drive a couple of hours to go visit my parents, but as I was getting the car ready this morning my back went out (happens occasionally, old injury).

So now that I'm stuck at home I decided to start working on my viking spear.

Anyone else got the day off? Doing anything interesting with the day?

Payed my quarterly taxes.

Wife worked overnight and is still snoozing. Been writing game code all morning, working on a turn based controller. When she wakes up we're going to buy pants, since I DO have to work the rest of the week, and evidently need nicer ones.

Yup, just like every other day. Made a pot of chili/with beans and just started a loaf of sourdough bread to compliment
the chili with beans. Just for clarification, pinto, kidney and white northern and 2lbs of top round steak.

I like getting things done, makes me feel like the day was worth getting up for. Today was shopping stock up day
