I saw a few 2022 Tundras in Houston and they look much better in real life than online. I'm a Ford fan boy, but can trade straight up (I think) for a new Tundra so I figured I would try and get one.
I have the Lightning and Cybertruck on "preorder" but at today's rate, who knows when either will call me to actually order a truck. Also, I'm worried about the range. Our ranch is 480 miles from my house and nowhere close to a charging station. I would love to get a Raptor R but assuming they will be over 100k considering you are mid to high 80s for the 802 with 37s, tech, etc. Anyway, went to the Toyota dealership that my family is close with the owners, and was disappointed with the info. They really didn't know anything about the 2022 trucks. Specifically, they didn't know anything about the TRD pro. They said Jan for ordering, but no price, details on packages, etc since most will be hybrid. Has anyone bought a 2022 Tundra? How is the ride? Tech? New 3.5? |

I'll be moving from my 2015 TRD Pro 4runner to the TRD Pro Tundra.
Like you, I can't find much info on the TRD Pro currently. Dealership that I've bought my last 3 cars at has no idea on price, timing, etc. |

The 3.5TT is from Lexus. It's been solid for Lexus for almost a decade.
I have a PDF of the owner's manual if you want, as well as a PDF of the dealer options list. I'm on my dealer's short list, they and I believe they will have what I'm looking for by March. |

A friend test drove one and he said he's buying one eventually. His current daily is a 2010 tundra on 37s.

I am tempted but I may have to wait because I am not going to pay bullshit msrp mark up prices…

I will be delivering these tomorrow: Attached File (That white 1794 edition? $68k. oof.gif) From where I'm sitting in my truck I see about a dozen trucks with between 1-3 Tundras each. There are hundreds of new Tundras within a half mile of me. I've seen a handful of trucks loaded out of TMMT in the last half hour. I was at TMMT yesterday and they are producing a ton of them. I'm also going to be at TMMT Friday morning for another load and I'll see what I can find out about the TRD PRO. They're coming. |

Quoted: Will this get 15mpg? View Quote Pretty much same mpg as the f150 3.5 ecoboost - 17/23, or 18/24 with the detuned sr engine. My '19 4Runner is supposed to get 16/19, but I average just over 20, FWIW. The TRD Pro isn't supposed to hit dealer lots until spring, same with the rest of the line that have the hybrid. Expect to lose about 300-400 lbs of payload with the hybrid. The SR5 already only has 1820 lbs, if that matters to you. |

I'm waiting a few months to see what the TRD Pro comes in at. I would imagine it will be a few $k higher than the Platinum or 1794 because the only option engine is the hybrid 3.5TT .
Been messing around with the build sheet on the Toyota website and it doesn't appear that you can get the Platinum with the rear locker. The Costco Auto Program also has the 2022 Tundra build live on their website. |

I just want a fucking 2021 4x4 sequoia nightshade. Is that so much to ask?
I was actively looking for one for months when I heard they were stopping production of the sequoia. I got close with that vehicle in 2x4 but no luck on 4x4, which I occasionally need to get out of my driveway with my last 3 tundras. |

The TFL guys have one of the first in the wild. It's a Limited with the TRD-OR package.
They got 18.6 MPG with the first full tank of gas cruising at 75 MPH on the highway. I'd think/hope a truck that doesn't have the TRD stuff would break 20 MPG fairly comfortably on the highway after break in. Another big question is, how many dealers are going to be selling these for MSRP, how many are taking on ADM, and will there be anything pretending to be a discount?
