[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Any cheap alternatives to Track IR?

Title pretty much says it all. I'm thinking about getting some sort of cheap head tracking. Don't really want to pay what a Track IR 5 commands, so are there any other good alternatives at half the price? I get rare chances to game, usually when I'm away on business trips, so spending $150 on something I use once and a blue moon is less appealing.

honestly. not as well, especially if you want 6dof.

get a track IR 5. it will change your life in flight sims. and while VR is more immersive, track IR with a wide screen and a physical cockpit gives you an edge in multiplayer. (I own both)

if money is an issue, I can pp you 25$ to help funding it. (IM me in case)

Thanks for the offer but I just got my IR5 last week.

Money is tight but not that tight. Had 100 dollars sitting that was supposed to be for a new sight for my bow for Christmas that I used for this instead. Hunting season is 10 months away so no rush there.
