I hope his bishop supports him.

If you don't want to watch the whole sermon, you could watch 06:50 to 13:50.

What an incredible few minutes of strength and wisdom!!!

I have never heard a priest be that vocal and "aggressive" in his criticism. Heck, in his condemnation of evil and those "Catholics" who abide it.

I loved it!

(Not trying to hijack this thread, and I can remove it if you ask me to)

Here's another example of a true man of God, this time an archbishop.

Thanks for sharing that, brother, no need to worry about possible hijacks in any of my threads.

I remember when the USCCB voted for Naumann over Cupich a few years ago for pro-life chairman (a standup thing they did).  I think Cupich was genuinely shocked that he didn't get the majority vote.

Calls out Catholics - especially bishops - who supported Biden or otherwise remained silent. Says they’ll be responsible for the suffering and shrinking the Church will endure as a result.

I decided to look up the parish.

Confession available 5 days/week
Eucharistic adoration 3 days/week
Public rosary 4days/week
4 novenas running
Divine mercy chaplet 1/week
First Saturday Mass

That is as good as it gets at a Novus Ordo parish and that is a good priest who is committed to helping his congregation get to heaven. I bet that is a great parish.

Less than 30 minutes from my parents" place. May have to give it a look next time I visit.

Other than the fact that there are masses every Saturday, and one less day of Eucharistic adoration, this is the schedule of my NO parish.

We may not have 4 novenas running right now either. I THINK only two at the moment.

Unfortunately, our priest is not as good as he is.

Your parish has Saturday morning Mass every Saturday?  That's unusual at a NO parish because of the need to have the mass of anticipation every Saturday evening - at least at parishes with only one priest.

The parish where I served Mass growing up had a full Sat morning schedule, but it was the Cathedral parish and had a semi-retired priest or two living in the rectory as well so they could meet that schedule.

My last parish (NO) had 2 hours of confession per week, 1 hour before Wed and Sat evening Masses, but if he could't hear all of the confessions before Mass, he would hear the rest after.

My parents belong to a much larger parish that has confessions 45 min on Sat afternoon only

Yeah! I saw that one. I wish he wouldn't state so many disclaimers before giving his sermon. Who cares he offends those who need to hear it.

Synopsis:
"You know what Jesus says... I've been in the confessional, you aren't paying attention."

Pray for the Priests to be better Priests.. To hold the Eucharist, above all, as the very lifeblood of the Faith.  The Martyrs and Saints of Mother Church surely see the cowardice and selfishness that has brought us to this... no, they have not died in vain because we have all been shown the truth...

Right for the sheep.
Left for the goats.

A quote from a friend:

Never be lukewarm.
Life itself demands passion.
He who is indifferent to God has already forfeited his soul.
He who is indifferent to politics has already forfeited his liberty.
In America, religion is not mere window dressing and citizenship is not a spectator sport.
Do not allow our common destiny as a whole people to just happen without your input.
Get in the fight! Engage the Enemy!
Seek the Truth; find the Way; live the Life; please God, and live forever.
