Anyone familiar with the PF-115HE and 210HE cabs?

I had a Fender Rumble 100 which has a 15 and I didn't feel like a stood a candle to my Ampeg Micro-CL which is also 100W but has a 2x10 cab. Now I've upgraded to a 500W amp and new a new cab. These are the two I've narrowed it down to. Unfortunately, the closest 210 is 2.5 hours away and I really don't know that I want to drive to Orlando the day before Thanksgiving. I played the 115 a couple of times and today's session was really impressive. I tried playing a SVT 210 but it's a ported cab vs sealed. It was too mid/high for me and didn't carry the low end like the 115 but I don't know if it's a fair comparison to the PF.

Stats-wise the 115/210 are very comparable:

Frequency Response (+/3 dB)50 Hz17 kHz [PF-115HE]
53 Hz17 kHz [PF-210HE]
Usable Low Frequency (10 dB)35 Hz [PF-115HE]
38 Hz [PF-210HE]
Maximum SPL125.5 dB [PF-115HE]
125.6 dB [PF-210HE]
So if I'm reading this correctly, the 115 goes a little lower and the 210s move just a little more air. I'd expect the 210s to be a little punchier. Ultimately, I think I'll probably end up with one of each to get the best of both worlds and to get the full potential out of the amp by running it into a 4 ohm load. So I guess the real goal is making the right choice for the first purchase.

I always thought a single 15 sounded a bit soft. I like the punch of a 10”, but use 4-10’s for the output. I have found 2-12’s to be a nice compromise.

Are the cabs you are looking at 4, or 8 ohm? Is your amp 2 ohm stable? Can you keep the micro-cl 2-10 cab and what is it’s impedance? Perhaps you could chuck the single 15 under it?

Hmm, I didn't get that with the 115. The wife would whack my nuts if I came home with the 410. However, I went back and tried an Acoustic 410 which sounded like a rattle trap. In hindsight I should've tried the other one to see if it was just that cab. I also tried a GK 410 which wasn't the sound I was looking for. Nor was the Mark Bass. I didn't think to take my amp so I was trying them through a Mark Bass head which was all they had. Ampeg doesn't seem to make a Portaflex 212, just a single. I might try to scrounge one up, though.

The Micro is 8 like the other cabs. The head will only do 4 or 8. It's rated for 350 at 8 and 500 at 4. I might try the Micro cab but it'd have to be freestanding. it's narrower than the other cabs and they wouldn't rest on it safely.
