An FHP Trooper sitting in his patrol vehicle on a traffic detail was attacked yesterday in Miami - Dade. The suspect stopped his car across the median from the trooper, got out, and opened fire through the driver's side window of the cruiser. The cruiser, and a nearby veterinary hospital, were struck but the trooper was not injured. The trooper was able to return fire, wounding the suspect and stopping the threat.

Largest city in my jurisdiction has quite a few driveby shootings but only a small minority of them result in anyone getting hit. Gang bangers can’t hit worth a shit....thankfully. |

Shooter was driving a Nissan Altima, second in popularity only to the ghetto Bentley (Chrysler 300).
