Got home from work today and there was an HP Deskjet 2755 printer here waiting for me.

Didn't order it, doesn't show up in my amazon order history.

Large label on it says it was shipped from HP to an Amazon fulfillment service, than there are two small labels on the opposite side with my name and address.

Pretty weird. Is Amazon in the habit of sending random shit to people ?

I actually just got a 480gb SSD, SSD mounting tray, a laptop lap stand, and a body pillow cover (nothing, weeb, just gray and frilly

) in 2 separate packages yesterday from amazon.

I didn't order any of it, and I checked my account (wife shares it), and she didn't either.

Both were addressed to me.

Sometimes those are fake shipments to pump 5 star reviews.

They send you something that you didn't order, which generates a shipping label in the amazon system, and then they use that as "verified purchaser" reviews.

Considering amazon's recent behavior, you should send it back to make sure it costs them as much as possible.

Keep a super close eye on your CC accounts. Had the same thing happen but it was a like $400 go pro. Called Amazon to figure out what was going on and 4 more had been ordered on my CC and then the scammers tried to have the 4 re-routed to a different address.

We got this from Lowe’s.
20 minutes on the phone and the lady couldn’t find the buyer info for it.
It was addressed to us and none of our family or friends know anything about it.

1. Call amazon customer service and explain that you received a package you didnt order
2. Tell customer service that you will gladly send it back if they pay the freight.
3. Open package and remove contents.
4. Replace said contents with concrete block and return to amazon

They sent me a decent prime lens, not great, but decent like that a few years ago. Even the same Cannon brand as my camera. Only think I could think was they were clearing out old stock with the newer model coming in.

I received two boxes full of stuff from Amazon that I didn't order. I sent them an email explaining that this happened and they told me to keep it and they'll send another order to the correct people. I gave most of it away to friends, sold a few things, and kept some of it.

Just to be safe, call Amazon and give them the shipping tracking number to determine who bought it.

Something similar happened to me and it turned out to be a scam. Someone setup another Amazon account as me, with my stolen credit card info and address, but not my email. They then bought something from a third-party seller at a massively inflated price and the fraud detection was zero because they shipped the product to my address - the same address as the credit card billing address.

In this scam, they make the money by the inflated price, not by receiving the product...and they used a stolen identify to setup as a vendor as well...so some poor sap gets fucked on that end even worse due to taxes. Took awhile to get fixed.

Hopefully that's not it, but better safe than sorry.

This. Someone hacked one of my cards a few years back and they shipped their college book to me. If something isn't right I think they ship to the billing address.
