The Virginia chapter of the American Pioneer Corps will host a formal dining out in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Pioneers and their guests are invited to attend for an evening of camaraderie and good natured shenanigans. This will be a family friendly event, however we request that you find a an alternative activity for children under the age of 13.
Our
guest of honor is Silver Star recipient Marine Corps Naval Flight Officer (NFO) Captain James Warner. Captain Warner served as an F4 Phantom II NFO during the Vietnam War, where he was shot down in 1967. He subsequently spent 1,979 days as a prisoner of war. You may view his biography
here.Who: Pioneers and their guests are welcome from all chapters of the American Pioneer Corps. ARFCOM Members and their dates are welcome as well.
What: APC Virginia's Dining out.
- A military-style formal banquet, with a grog
- Dress code: Business Formal (Navy: Service Dress Blue, Marine Corps: Service Alphas, Army: Class A; Male civilian: matching suit with tie; Female civilians: knee-length or longer dress.
- Dinner is: Choice of smoked and sliced beef brisket in au jus served with garlic mashed potatoes and fresh green beans; or fresh parmesan cheese on top of a crispy chicken breast cutlet served onto angel hair pasta with house marinara sauce.
- OPEN BAR!!! (Includes beer selection of domestic [Bud, Bud Light, Coors, Goose IPA] and import [Heineken, Stella, Corona]; and red or white wine.)
When: 5:30pm - 10pm, Saturday, February 13th, 2021. Expect to take your seats by 6:15pm. Don't be late!
