Just a heads up for Seiko owners...and probably other watches. If you are looking for upgrades, try one of the strapcode miltat bracelets. I’ve had one on my SKX007 for years and just ordered another for my Samurai. The machined clasp alone is excellent. It beats the hell out of the factory Seiko bracelet. Adds a little weight but gives Seikos that heft they are missing.

I’m expecting my new bracelet Monday. Will post pics of both next to factory ones for comparison.

I have their Super Engineer, on a 007. Feels great on the skin, too.

My first Seiko automatic was a Japan made 009 with a Strapcode Engineer bracelet.  I bought it here off the EE.  Fantastic bracelet!  I want to get some for my Turtles now.

Exactly. This is partly why I posted this. There is something about having a quality steel bracelet. It changes the way the watch feels...not fits.

When I got my newest Seiko(the samurai) I loved it...but as soon as I got it on my wrist I could instantly feel the cheap bracelet and didn’t like wearing it. That will change as soon as I get delivery of the new one.

Not a steel watch band fan.

I think of all the 'metal' bands I have, one is titanium, one is steel (Poseidon).  Every other one I got rid of.

I have one on a Turtle. Very happy with it.

Absolutely a huge improvement.  My 009 has the super jubilee, and my 007 and two Orient Rays have super oysters.

I'm working on the third standard Seiko Jubilee band on my old Kinetic, getting ready to have it serviced and a new band installed.
I tend to stretch even steel bands out until they get gaps between the links.

How do these Strapcode bands stand up to that?

I'd be looking at a Super-O type band.

I’d be very surprised if you can damage/bend ant part of these bracelets.

I’ll try to get some pics up of my beater SKX bracelet. It’s worn almost everyday for 10 years. Still seems as solid as the day I got it. Very scratched up tho. It has a lot of character now lol

Disappointingly, they don't have a band to fit my older Seiko.

Seiko basic 150m and 200m divers are truly the Toyota Hilux diesel of the automatic dive watch world.

These straps are like aftermarket bombproof bumpers and winches.

Hell yeah, love that bracelet on this watch.  Heck, even my watch maker dude was impressed with the bracelet, apparently the pins were really good quality.

Damn bro, your wrist be tiny!  You're breaking the AR15.com stereotype of obese basement dwellers.  Go eat a cheeseburger or twelve!   I usually have to take out one link from what the factory delivers on all my watches.

That bracelet looks great!

LOL listen here ya jackwagon.
My wrist may be tiny but believe me, I’m 165 lbs of shear muscle and tier one ability. I once wrestled and made a full grown brown bear tap. I can roundhouse kick 10 feet in the air.
