As said prior. The fit and finish on these is incredible. Also there just isn't that many out there so people want them but can't get them. I have lot's of other brands but prefer to carry these.

Nice.

So do you turn the outside first and then drill out the center? Or is there some way to clamp a hollow tube in the lathe? I've never used one.

I turned the outside then drilled out the center. I do have a chuck that would hold it on the inside if I needed to though. Personal preference on how it's done.
I never tried before so did it that way.

Homemade. Pretty good but a huge PITA to assemble.

Fry, then dump in 1/4+ cup of water and cover to steam for a few minutes, then uncover and cook the water off, then flip for a minute.

As I mentioned in the post with the Neutron 2, we’re going to Delaware this June, which is why I picked that little guy up.

Well, I asked my wife if she wanted a knife that would be legal out there, and initially she said yes. About ten minutes later, she told me no, she didn’t need one as she has enough knives, and a week without one wouldn’t kill her. I asked her again, and she said, “I really don’t need one, thanks though.” So, just to be sure, I asked her again. Same thing: “ I really don’t need one, thanks though.” Ok then, it’s settled:

It’s actually not a terrible little knife. If it turns out she likes flippers like I suspect she will, I’ll get her a Protech Malibu.

LMAO. What you better be planning, though, is to just keep that in your pocket until she asks to borrow your knife or for you to cut something for her, then you just casually hand her that.

For me it's quality of materials, action and the details that go into their manufacture. Everything lines up, everything has been thought of, and they impress you months later

Copper CF. The thumb hole is fucking useless. The scale needs to be relieved back to even think about getting your thumb in there. Spydie flick works great though. Very smooth action, not sure if it's bearings or washers. The maker doesn't say.

I really ought to send it out to someone to get micarta scales for it and a better pocket clip.
I'd carry it more often.
I've had it almost 2 years now and it doesnt get carried often.

That was the first thing I thought as well....then I compared the two:

I'll probably just end up sending it to someone to make some micarta scales for it.

Wife had a nightmare the other night and woke me up with repeated knees to my glutes and thighs.
Like Muay Thai knees to the glutes and back of thighs.

About a week before I had a nightmare where someone was attacking my kids and I front push kicked/stomped them so hard in my dream that I launched myself out of my bed. If I was facing my wife when I did that, I probably would have launched her out of the bed and promptly woken up being assaulted by a chancleta.

We rarely have nightmares, so it's odd that we both had one resulting in sleep movements like that in such a short period of time.

I do for the most part. The sharp part of the scales makes it annoying to carry in my everyday pants pocket. Things changed recently at work so I get to be more casual in dress so I can actually swap knives out a little more and get more time with it. I honestly think with the right scales and a slightly different pocket clip, I'd be quite happy with it.

How do you like yours?
