Not really. Got more in number from this batch because the bigger circle cutter was in the running dishwasher, so used the next size down.

I think you're purposely leaving out the hollandaise.

I'm going to have to try one of the easy instant yeast recipes though as I don't maintain a sourdough starter. Sounds like I just need some cornmeal or semolina to dust it. I think my egg rings might be around the right size to cut them out too.

I really haven't ever done much real "baking" in spite of feeling like a pretty good cook and brewing beer. I have a hard time committing much to it now because it is carb. heavy, but at the end of the day I love bread from complex and heavily seeded to white baguettes. If it is in the house I am eating a significant amount every day. I should probably learn to make crackers instead.

No, as a citizen of our republic it's my freedom to use while I'm here as well.

It was good. I added grilled onions and it came with cheddar and pepper jack cheese.

There may have been a big mixer at my first job, which was washing dishes in the kitchen at a retirement home, but I don't recall there being one anywhere else that I worked. Papa John's was the last restaurant I worked at and they had dough delivered a few times a week instead of making it in the store.

I want a commercial dishwasher in my house too. Lmao

Well, to be fair, October is called October because in the Roman calendar it was the eighth month. Under the Gregorian calendar the name carried over, but it is now the eighth month.

But to your point:

Why is Oktoberfest not called Septemberfest?
Fair enough – the majority of the 16 to 18 days of the Oktoberfest take place not in the eponymous October but in September. The name comes from the history of the Wiesn: The occasion for the first Oktoberfest in 1810 was the wedding of the Bavarian Crown Prince Ludwig to Princess Therese of Sachsen-Hildburghausen. On October 12th 1810 the festivities began and they ended on October 17th with a horse race. Since it was so well-received, the festival was repeated in the following years, then extended and at this point brought forward into September. The weather surely played a role in moving the dates, which in Munich at the end of September often provides a pleasant, mild Indian summer – true Oktoberfest weather, in fact!

since when is time an issue for your (new) people? You have nothing but time.

chillax, kick off your shoes, put your feet up, pop a cold one, lean back, enjoy some Colter Wall and spend some time with nature.
