We used to have Glideslope issues because hawks would eat their meals on the antennas and leave a big mess all over.

Or sitting there watching feathers fall past the windows as some bird gets eaten in the edge of the roof

Used a lot less wood than I thought it would (small sized one), no tending at all (everything in there burns all the way), good amount of heat, and a really cool flame pattern with the vent holes at the top looking like jets.

On the whole, it is a nice knife. Glad I tried it.

The CF version I had on washers was really nice, contoured scales so I was hesitant to try the ti version given how flat it looks, but the S90V pushed me over the edge.

Well the ti version is not as countoured in the hand as the CF, but it is better than I anticipated. Still not the ergos of a shiro or Emerson. But it is nice.

The one thing that stands out on these, and in answer to your question about why it is called the "swift" Op, the geometry for the thumbstud to open it is one of those where it just flies open, very quick.

The CF version I had was on washers and closing was slower, had to push it shut. The ti version here is on bearings, so it drops shut nicely.

Blade length to handle ratio is optimized.

I like the liner lock.

Execution is excellent. Each Cheburkov I have handled has been good, but it still feels like they have been making little improvements along the way.

Solid choice, but the ergos leave it wanting. More chamfered edges would go a long way. Kinda my general impression with Cheburkovs. For the money they are nice though.

So, best rack...

I know a number of you commented everyone can appreciate a good rack, so thought I should follow up.

Roberta's rack was designed in a way that it was kind of open. Tines spread out and straight up and down.

Bosch's rack has tines close together and angled. All of them.

For general purpose use, Roberta's tine pattern was pretty good, I could fit a lot in there, but there was room for stuff to clank around.

In Bosch, the tines are clearly oriented for typical tableware. I can fit way more plates, bowls, glasses and silverware in Bosch than in Roberta.

But what about the other stuff in life? Storage containers, mixing bowls, muddy shoes?

Bosch loses points there to a certain extent.  Spending more time with Bosch, I have learned where stuff can fit when organized properly. It isn't like Roberta's open dump pattern of tines. Bosch wants you to go in a certain order, for reasons I'm sure.

I can also stack stuff on top of other stuff in Bosch and everything still gets clean. There wasn't really any stacking in Roberta because the racks were too close to each other and the inside of the dishwasher.

There are also foldable tine sections in Bosch. That may help with certain larger items, but I have not encountered any yet.

So what makes a good rack? Everyone has different tastes I guess. Still getting used to Bosch, but looks like it should work. It is really quiet and really fast on express mode.

Time will tell.

Indeed!

And, how far we have fallen, that one needs to specify "whole milk" as if anything else even was "milk".

If you start discriminating against milk, you will have a whole state rain hell down on you.

That's what I would say had I not experienced milk in other locals.

Outside the land of milk and honey, there is an appreciable difference in the quality of milk with varying fat content.

Here, even the fat free milk (from the right brands) still has a glorious full bodied taste to it.
