What holster are you using?

I've steered away from Olight's due to lack of holster options in the past.

Incog but the light only lives on it when not holstered. Like you said, no holster options. Thinking about dropping it and grabbing a SF so I can find something I carry it in. When I bought this one I had trouble finding anything for a 5" 2.0 with ANY kind of lighting options.

It was still pretty well minute of fist at 10 yards.

Uh huh, sure. Know how I know you've never had to change a clutch brake?

You lose all of your grip when wearing gloves in that kind of greasy mess. Not to mention your hands get sweaty (because it's always after the truck had been on the road all day) and the gloves start slipping around.

I REALLY hated 5th wheel grease. That's some thick, tenatious stuff and combine that with arm hair, you'd be faster just to shave the hair off.

I haven't had to deal much with 5th wheels. I have one customer that I do repairs on their hostlers but no maintenance. I've drug the air hose and extension cord across them before though.

I hate it when I end up dragging a hose or cord through some grease and you've cleaned up your hands only to have a fat glob of it smeared across your palm as you're winding it up.

So DFARM...I impulsively bought a 1" or2" x 42" belt grinder today. I don't know what I'm going to try making (besides a mess and a lot of scraps). Just kinda dipping my toes into the maker arena to see if I can make some useful designs. Still need to figure out what I'm doing for heat treat.. Might just have to farm it out until/if I justify getting my own oven.

Awesome!  Welcome to the club!

Stick with small knives of 10xx steel and you can make a forge to heat treat them in fairly inexpensively.

What holster are you using?

I've steered away from Olight's due to lack of holster options in the past.

I’ve been carrying streamlight flashlights (hand held) for years. We’ve had TLR-1 HL’s on our pistols for almost 2 years now. Zero issues.
I’ve seen them abused and beat to hell. One is bent out of round, still works like nothing happened.

I own Surefire (hand helds) as well. Great lights, just very expensive.

Check out Theis holsters...they might have a holster for the Olight.
