"This product requires an ammunition statement form if you do not have an FFL."
Lol. They can keep their ammo. |

I can understand them wanting that form given the current political climate

These guys also have Indian .303Br, which is usually crap, but comes in very useful clips and bandos. |

Anyone that has ordered, do they add tax as well once you actually check out? Might be worth it if not, but if so I think I'll just stick with the 1000 rounds of tula I've already got.

I cleaned out my shooting bag the other day and had 100 rds of 308, 120 rounds
of Wolf Gold 5.56 and 90 rounds of 5.45x39. Felt like I hit a lottery. |

I was about to buy just for the clips, but looking around I see they are pretty common. I even found these 10-round 7.62 clips for relative cheap: https://www.combathunting.com/FN_-_FAL-7_62x51mm_10_Round_Stripper_Clips_20_Pack_New.html

@DSArms_FAL did it right. Initially, they listed this stuff at $350. Then an hour later, changed it to $280. If you ordered at the higher price, they corrected your order and knocked off the difference.

Quoted: $315? Did you have a coupon code or something? (How did you get shipping included for less than the $349 list price?) View Quote He's talking about ordering from the link in the OP, not AIM. My total with shipping would be about $320, less than the base price of AIM. Interestingly enough, shipping 2x 400 round cases is $10 cheaper than 1 800 round. Cost per round still means the 800 would win by $30 or so. |

Would have been $331 from DSA, but I hesitated and missed it. $343 from Max Arms. AIM would have been $401. Checkout didn't require the form; we'll see if they ask for it later or just don't ship pending submitting it.
Base price is honestly not much above what Hirtenberger was going for last time I was able to buy it. It was going for around $12 a box (somewhat less in quantity), but you didn't get ammo cans, bandoliers, or chargers with it. This comes out to $14 per 20 rounds before shipping. Had this come out pre-panic, I'm not sure it would have sold for a whole lot less. My FAL likes Hirtenberger more than any other surplus. It's generally good-quality ammo; some of the better surplus for sure. This is mostly 1980s production, it sounds like, so there's a decent chance it'll be Boxer-primed, too. IIRC, all of the 1980s Hirtenberger I've shot was Boxer-primed, with the 1970s stuff still being Berdan-primed. |
