I see some of these YouTubers screwing off with 50bmg and I am surprised this hasn't happened before. Some of them do blatantly stupid stuff. Steel is usually involved.
On the subject of steel, nearly all of them fuck around with it well inside the safety zone. I've had copper come back at me from a bowling pin shoot at 20yds. It's not pleasant, and that's just pistol calibre. |

I have a pretty decent sized scar on my right arm from a .50 ricochet. One of the guys shooting with us at the outdoor range we used at Barrett was loading an 82a1. He had the rifle tilted too far forward when loading and finger on the trigger.
Round went straight down in front of him. Next thing I felt was a slap and one hell of a burning sensation as the jacket had ripped off and the hot as fuck steel core landed on my arm. |
