Took out this Micro heli today and was able to run 2 packs through it without crashing going full cyclic. She was fighting me for a bit with a 9mph wind but was able to control her pretty well just doing some tail/nose in and side hovers. Got pretty high elevation at one point too which kind of spooked me but was able to bring her back down and did some circle passes as well. Very much different than working on a sim.

Hell yeah brother!

How you like the direct drive?

I have the 150X which is the predecessor to the T15. It's a great little heli. Probably 200 flights. Zero crashes that were my fault. I did have the pinion slip off one flight which dropped her hard. Only snapped a grip arm linkage. A $2 part.

I got the replacement and was confused. It has no grub screw. That's the day I learned about "retention fluid."

Hey thankyou!  that's a cool looking heli bro. Honestly,  this is the first heli I've been able to fly without crashing in 10 seconds lol. It definitely has some kick to it. I have an Oxy4 with the regular separate motor Pinon/main gear drive but I'm still learning how to set that one up with the FBL and it's been a challenge.

I bought this T15 used for a good price and it being a BNF I just wanted to fly after 60+ hrs on a sim.

Sweet! I really like Align, they seem to put out really decent stuff at a good price. I've considered getting an SAB Goblin Kraken but too many irons in the fire. I do have another Align though, a 450L which is also an excellent machine. It's honestly easier to fly than the 150 class heli due to it having a bit more weight. Most people suggest learning to fly on a 450. It's small enough that you don't get stressed about crashing (crashing an 800 class heli is a thousand dollar mistake), but it is still big enough to be fairly stable in flight.

While I can fly both equally well now, the 450L takes much less finesse to keep it in the same-ish spot. It's less squirrely if that makes sense.

Pic for size comparison. The 150X in the pic is basically the same size as the T15.

That 450 is sweet bro! how much was that? I know everyone is all hopped up on the SABs, Trons and such but I like the other kind of obscure Helis. My next one is definitely going to be a 450-500 class Heli.

I ended up getting the RTF (I bought it before my 150X), and I think it was $580 for a RTF with one battery and charger.

Looks like they are about $550 now. You can get the BNF version a bit cheaper but it is 6S (mine is 3S), as I didn't need the power.

It is always when they survive 2 flights.  One flight is an anomaly, 3 is a pattern.

I have been looking for something 150 size.  Maybe I will considering forgiving Align for the 450X and consider the T15.  Maybe.

EvoX, if you are interested I have a couple of HobbyKing 450 airframes sitting here.  One has been flown a few times, the other not at all, IIRC.  Copies of various Align 450 airframes.  I could make a heck of a deal on them if I don't have to ship.

Hey thanks for the offer bro but I still need to get my Oxy4 in the air. I'm having trouble trying to set the pitch correctly on the main blades right now.

Been awhile since I’ve had mine out for a spin.
