Looking at a 2000 Harley Davidson Dyna Glide with 35K miles, some accessories and one small dent on gas tank.  Owner is asking $3995.  Except for the dent, the bike looks super clean.  I have never owned a HD but have ridden a 1100 Yamaha.  Looking around Craigslist and FB marketplace the price seems ok.  What do you guys think?  Anyone own a Dyna here?

In my area people ask that price and more for sportsters of the same age.  If the only issue is a dent, id say its a good price.

I would buy it for $4000, can always paint it. I like Dynas better than Softtails, but like FXR better.

Price doesn’t seem to bad to me with those miles. What is the condition of the tires?  Factor in the price of 2 tires if the remaining tread is low or they show age cracks, and barter accordingly.

I’ve owned 3 Dyna’s, current one is ‘05 WideGlide that I bought new. Dyna’s are my preference over Softtails. Softtails are a 250 mile per day bike for me, Dyna’s I’ll ride 500-600 miles per day. I also have a Screaming Eagle 110 Electra Glide that I’ve ridden 900 miles in a day. Dyna’s ride and handle good, but the older FXR was the best.

Sounds like a fair price to me. I miss my Dyna.

Missed out on the listed Dyna Convertible but bought a 2009 Fat Bob instead.  It will be at dealers until the snow melts.

I've got a 13 Fatbob that's been pretty good so far. If I keep it long term I may swap out the solid wheels but overall it rides pretty good.
