thanks guys. its been great so far.

i do feel really bad for my wife though. having to go through all that pain of labor and then just having to have the C-Section. she really wanted to deliver the natural way, but the important thing is that this baby is out and she is healthy.

yep i too cried when my son was born. i hid it well but my then wife still noticed. one of the proudest days of my life, seconded only to the first time the little shit walked up to me unprovoked gave me a hug and said, "i love you daddy".

I felt the very same way when my daughter was born.......................28 years ago!   I've been proud of her everyday of her life.

She now has two kids ( my grandkids) and the cycle repeats itself.   Enjoy every second because they grow up so fast!

Congrats!

I'd cry, too, knowing that at least the next 18 years of my life are now pretty much doomed to servitude to a snotnosed little brat

who won't appreciate my sacrifices for him or her until he has kids of his own.

But you know...I'd take that in a heartbeat.  But, having been single for so long and with no candidates in sight to change that,

it's a torment I may never have the pleasure of experiencing.

Congratulations, dad.  All the pieces of the puzzle are now present.  It's up to you to assemble them in the correct order,

showing what A REAL MAN is.

A real man places his family first and does his best for them.   Congratulations on a great start!

Just wait until you have to swat your baby girl on the butt for the first time.

Congrats!

Don't worry, the crying and fussing will increase after you take her home.  They're pretty tired for a few days after they're born and need to save up energy for when their true nature comes out!

Hearing my daughter sing is the most beautiful thing I've ever heard.  I'm sure it will be that way for you too.

I remember that day like it was yesterday. Now my daughter is in grad school.

When I think of her I remember most the times when she was 2-3 years old. Cherish every second sir. She will never remember being young and poor but she WILL remember every second you spend with her.

She will be that small and innocent for 5 minutes.
