Bells Two Hearted Ale
Guinness
Sam Adams
Bass

Once you have all that, pour 1/2 pint of any but Guinness.  Then fill the rest of the pint with Guiness for some half and half goodness .

I drink the Dink as well...you need to try if they are available in your area...Victory Brewing Prima Pils and Troegs Sunshine Pils.

They are made close to me in PA and the freshness of the beer is quite noticeable.

I drink the above.

After two weeks in Germany I have come to understand that American beer is piss water compared to good beer.

I have now become a beer snob.  I cant really say what beer I like because I havent found anything in the US that I like.  Except for maybe Blue Moon or Boulevard Wheat if I am in the midwest.  They are okay.

Try any of the Belgian trappist ales. They are in corked bottles like wine. Damn good beer and strong at like 12 or 13%. My favorites would be Gulden Draak or Corsendeck (I know I spelled the last one wrong)

Other good beers:
Arrogant Bastard
Rogue Dead Guy Ale
Fly Dog Imperial Porter
Hobgoblin

A good Brazilian beer I like and nobody drinks is called Xingu.

I've tried the Trappist Westmalle (light) and Rochefort. They both tasted too much like hard liquor to me, too strong. Are all Trappist ales like that?

Give Chimay a try.  It's a bit lighter than Westmalle and Rochefort.

Orvalle might be a bit strong, but it's still worth a try.

Just remember, there are three types of people:

1)Those who don't know any better.
2)Those who do know better and therefore must to prove their enlightenment.
3)Those who know better but and choose to do what they enjoy.
