With the squirrel farting Nissans and and Toyotas I believe it was put. Be a V8 or above, or keep the noise down. Midas muffler's are for kiddy cars. (IE) Anything less than 8 cylinders!!! But hey those 8's gotta have something to eat![newbie] You obviously have never raced one. Raced my Mustang at a Ford vs. Buick meet down in Carlsbad many years ago. GNs ran hard with just a little done to them. Made me a believer in turbos. |

Gotta go with a late 60's or early 70's Mopar. Something about the "E" body cars (70-74 Challengers and Barracudas) really drives the women wild, and makes the men envious. Trust me, I had a 71 340 Challenger, and the biggest mistake I ever made was selling it. BTW-if you are going to get a big block, make sure it's the 440 or the 426 Hemi, the 383 was a dog of a big block. My factory 340 would whoop up on any factory 383 out there. I'm guessing it was a weight thing, but the 340 could also rev higher.
