RoadRunner, Thanks for the info. I offered to go on an elk hunt, but he said that he wanted to take me to some place romantic. And that led us to the gun range. haha

Valkyrie2001 thanks val, actually he has a few augs and i have shot them. i just don't really want one. my mp5 is still my fave. as far as the course, quite a few girls did really well on it, it has a few obstacles and we tended to blow over them alot faster than some of the guys. the fact that i can also hit a barn didn't hurt. they spared us the little lady speech as they have a few female agents, at least they are supposedly females. |

HK USC SteyrGirl, You can have this one. Granted, no hi-caps, but it's still pretty sweet, and I'm sure you'd resonate with it pretty well. I know *I* would; it's just too damn expensive. Of course, you can always find a Marline Camp Carbine in .45ACP for $400 or so. It looks kind of like an overgrown Ruger 10/22, and uses 1911 pistol mags. LOL Anyway, we started our Shooting Club's season Monday night. The first night's shoot was a long range water jug competition. Long range at this facility meant 131 laser-measured yards, but what the hey. My wonderful, beautiful wife wanted "my own deer rifle" for Christmas, so Santa brought her a Remington Model 700 in .30-06. She shot three jugs with three shots and won the pot! Beat all the boys! One of the guys said later, "She looked so happy--and so pretty!" Damn, almost made me teary eyed. She shoots with me weekly, has killed five deer in five years and is beautiful. She does not mess with the computer so is not on this site, but nobody's perfect. I am glad you and the other ladies are here. Now I will make an effort to watch my language a little bit. Welcome, we love the ladies, and best wishes with your nuptials. [O:)] |
