im in a different boat. i have a shitload of guns, ammo and mags but am leaving for the military in two weeks and have no idea what im going to do with it all.
at very least i can log 20+ guns into the arms room, but ive been told the military wont ship ammo at all. ive got 15K+ rounds, and less than two weeks. my 300+ mags can ride with me in household goods though. starting to bite nails. |

i have been training with a retired swat operator here in raleigh, good guy carbine classes, pistol classes and shotgun classes as of thus far |

Three guns, 11 mags and 650+ rnd of ammo (and none for the m4gery  ).Call us when you catch up with the rest of us. Shoot, I've got 4 rifles on lay-a-way + 9 30 rnd AK mags and a 75 rnd drum each with ammo. I love being single!  BTW I'm required by post count law to state you need some 5.56 for the m4gery.  |

I wish I had decided to spend money on classes and ammo when I was still at that stage instead of buying a pile of aks, ARs etc. That's a good setup, though I would want a rifle and shotgun for hunting and a .22 upper.

I'm holding off on buying more firearms right now too. I could probably afford a few, but I'm dumping all my money into ammo for now, and setting training goals.
Right now, I have: CZ-52 M44 Mosin Marlin 39A .22 The .22 I use mainly when I'm broke, or to hunt. I'm spending about $150 / month on ammo for the CZ and $50 on the Mosin. I have a friend who has leased me some land near me, which he doesn't need since he doesn't live nearby. It about 10 acres in a draw between a couple high hills, so i can safely shoot in 3 directions. I practice movement drills, firing from concealment, and I've even done a little firing from a moving vehicle. I figure once I can put 5 shots into a 6" circle from 15 yards, while moving to cover, It will be time to buy a "better" gun. FWIW, my CZ-52 has had only a single hiccup, when one of the pins worked its way out. I tapped it back in and its never so much as had a hint of trouble. |

This is what we veterans call a "static display". More mags and definitely more ammo. But you definitely get points for excellent weapon selections. |

 10/22 Colt SAA .45LC CVA 1860 Army .44 old surefire and my everyday Benchmade Colt Sporter A2 w/ A1 sights Stevens/Savage 620 takedown 12 GA 70 series Colt Gov't Sig Sauer P226 HK 91 IC date code Ruger MK I .22lr Only pic I had handy. I've got a milk crate full of mags, and I try to keep min of 500 5.56 and 500 9mm on hand. |
