Deuce and a half with either M2 or M60 on the ring mount, towing a fuel trailer full of diesel, and a pallet of ammo for the rifle in the bed.  The ammo alone will probably be $100k at today's prices.

Corvette Z06...  HANDS DOWN.

427 cubic inches, 505HP, 3147lbs.
NOTHING will touch it on the street.

My brother just bought one the day before Thanksgiving.  $77,790 out the door.

Z06.

I would park it next to the 911 I already have and my garage would be nicely filled.

My wife's minivan would be relegated to outside parking.

Yet to be seen - the Ring times are more than suspect - do a bit of googling. Plenty of inconsistency in the various claims. Could be it is - but they've created a great deal of doubt and ill will due to the slicks/suspension/etc questions.

When someone runs a stock GT-R - we'll know. When Horacio Pagani wanted to est a Ring time - he asked for a volunteer production (ok realizing its a Pagani) owners car and did it clean. I've much respect for Horatio - he's an honorable guy. We'll see if the same can be said of Nissan.

You don't have to spend the entire $100K, but you're not getting any change back.  And there's no way around that, you can buy a Mercedes and then sell it and buy a Camry and keep the change.  And it's got to be a personal vehicle, not something work-related.

What would you buy?

An East Coast Rovers prepped Land Rover Discovery 110 with the Rover 300 TDI diesel.

It would go anywhere a sane person would try to take it.  It will run on any diesel you could find.  It can run on one wire from the battery to the fuel pump solenoid- no ECU, no electrics to troubleshoot.

It could carry 9 people and all their gear almost anywhere in the world.

All in all, a near-perfect, bulletproof, tactiCOOL yet understated daily driver and the ultimate BOV (for me).
