Yeah I used to work in a factory in the heart of MN mosquito country  WE left the doors open at night to cool the place down and it was literally crawling with frogs, toads, and salamanders, and NO mosquitoes!!

Nobody molested these "amphibious warriors"!!!

My old farm place used to get tiny baby toads in the field every spring.  They could comfortably sit on a dime!  Cool little guys, but whenever the kids tried to keep them in jars they would die, so we quite catching them.  Probably too delicate at that age to stand any upheavals in their routine, or change in diets, or lack thereof...
