Fear Factor was a game I started. People donated about $1000 in prizes, around $500 went to the final winner.  I had 10 contestants, 1 person got voted off each round by me after I gave them stunts to do.

1:  standing on a corner with a sign "Will work for ammo"

2:  Going into a store in full BDU's and building a toilet paper pyramid.

ARFCOM is so much better than TV.  Anyone got a link to the fear factor thread, I can't believe I missed that.

I was there for the Range Report.  I also remember fondly the ass kicking the guy got for claiming that Jonsey was giving him an M16A1.  The goth girl and rachel threads were pretty good.  And when a bunch of the guys started trolling mothering.com, and they started trolling back and we actually converted a few of them, that was GREAT.

I love this site

Wing Hunt.  Some guy posted that he would go on wing hunts at the restaraunt he worked at. They would 'find' and extra wing or two instead of making fresh ones at closing time or when they were really busy.  Some guys got pissed because they ate there and fowarded the link to the restaraunt.  The guy got fired.

My friend is giving me an M16.  Some kid went on and on about how his friend was giving him an M16 because he had so many.  The kid got an ARFcom spanking including postings of his own pictures of him on top of a mountain of airsoft junk.

Found the links in the ARCHIVE server.

Ok, most of us worked in the food business one time or another, did you ever do something you hoped the customer never found out about? I’m a cook and worked at many restaurants and witnessed food being dropped on the floor and picked up and served all the time. At the restaurant I’m at now we have something called a wing hunt. When a customer orders say 12 wings and we only have 11 we go on a wing hunt. (Look under stations etc. for a dropped wing and pop it in the microwave and wola we got 12). Its sounds bad but when we do it our entire kitchen staff is in hysterics its pretty funny. Most of us smoke so we try to get the orders out as fast as possible so we can take smoke breaks. If we didn’t do the hunt, we would have to wait 8 minutes for wings to cook and in the time a rush could happen then we might not be able to smoke for another 3 hours… You wouldn’t believe the secrets cooks keep, do you have any stories of your own?

I have a friend who's got a class 3 FFL who's actualy GIVING me an old M16A1. But what should i do with it? He said it's worne down, so i was thinking of upgradeing it with some of my AR15 parts. I have an a2 Hbar, a PreBan A4 made with RRA parts, a pre ban A1 made with m16a1 parts, and I have a mil-spec a2 uppper thats on the hbars receiver.

I was going to make an M4A1 with a parts kit and the receiver, but i can't afford that on PFC pay.

how would you make the mosts rifles by buying the fewest parts?

I've been here long enough to remember most of those (or at least know the story behind them), except for the "Range Report" one.

Is it the one where some poster was claiming improbable sub-MOA shooting with his M4rgery?

IIRC, he issued a few challenges for ARFCOMERs to come visit and go to the range with him.
