First!

Clear your head,  and stay strong until you know for sure.

Then and only then you,  her and her doctors can make a plan of attack.

She needs you to stay strong either way.

Been there multiple times with my wife.  I truly believe staying positive and happy is crucial to a good outcome.

Just for good measure.....  Fuck cancer!  Even if it isn't.  Fuck cancer anyways!!!

Hope everything is ok, OP

My wife just had another test (had leukemia over a year ago) that came back clean.

Do your best to stay positive. You'll feel helpless but you being there for her IS a huge help.

Don't panic. Wife went through the same thing.  Turned out to be nothing to be concerned about.  Point being there is no reason to worry until the biopsy results come back.

Op
The wife and me have been through this  lumps, biopsy X 3. We learned not to worry until you have test results back.
It runs in her family also.

Good luck

It could be a lot of things, don't panic yet.  My wife when through that and it turned out to be nothing in the end.  I understand the terror tho. Good luck, hope everything turns out fine.

Prayers sent, OP. One thing I've learned in 68 years is DON'T WORRY ABOUT WHAT HASN'T HAPPENED YET. Most of the time, it doesn't happen.

Both of you, cool your jets.

Matthew 6:34 New King James Version (NKJV)

34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Prayers for you and your wife and family.

Arfcom is and amazing place many of us have been where you are.  Pray......Pray.....Pray and then listen to what He has to say to your hearts.  Take time to be quiet before Him....in the midst of this storm.

He is a Good Father....always.

I am praying for you friend. It's not cancer until they say it is. If it is, docs kick its ass all the time. I know many survivors.

Prayers for you and she.

My wife found a lump a year ago, almost this week. Turned out to be BC. One year later she's done and feeling great!

A positive attitude helps tremendously.

Ping me if you have any questions!

We can all tell you not to worry but the reality is that you're going to. Looks like a lot of guys have been through this and it's turned out to be nothing. Stay strong. Prayers to you and your family bro.

Whatever happens, have her get the cancer gene test.  Good luck.

When her sister died in 2006 she had the Braca gene test and it was negative. We've kinda always assumed she was safe.

Our family doc called and said some encouraging things even though her report says highly suspicious.

My wife, 58 years old now, has found two in the last 15 years.  Both were listed as "suspicious" and both were benign.

Good luck, prayers to you and her.

Prayers and best wishes.
Good part, if there is one, early cancer usually doesn't hurt and or move around. My mom is dealing with renal cancer right now. Some of those reports are pure BS. Drs at times are test readers instead of Drs. Even the "good" ones.
Not a diagnostic absolute, but something to keep things on the positive side. Stay strong for her.

Generally lumps are not painful. Family hx..is very important though unfort..if she has sisters, mom,aunt,etc..you want to keep a close eye on it. My wife has 44 DDDs. (No pics) and gets lots of hard cysts, always nerve wracking.

My mom's family had no hx..and breast cancer killed her deader than shit at 50.  She was s pro tennis player, in top shape and never drank or smoked her entire life. I am sure the stress of living with my asshole dad was the cause.

My mom has had two similar scares. The suspense of not knowing until the results is unbearable.

My grandma (on my dad's side) has beat it twice. Stay strong and Godspeed.

I'm reading many of your responses to her out loud.

Thank you all.

I believe...not because I want to, but because it is true. That's what we are standing on right now.

I promise to update as we know more.

Found it Sunday.  Went in today for mammo.  They ordered an ultrasound in addition.  Doc looked at ultrasound and body language was unnerving.  Said we wont know until the biopsy results.  Could be benign, but just not sure.  Microcalcifications, but not a lot of them.

Lump is tender to the touch and moves/ not stationary.

Lump is 3 CM x 2CM

Cant get biopsy before Friday at the earliest.  May take a week or more to get results.  We are going to try to win an Oscar in front of our kids and not tell them at all for now...scared to death inside.  This can't be happening.

HER SISTER DIED AT 46 from breast cancer.  Wife is 44.

We believe in prayer.  Yours are appreciated.

OP, Mrs Rabinowitz has been an OR RN for 35+ years working mostly with oncologists and orthopedists.  I had her read your post.

Size, shape, pain are not indicative either way.

Mrs R said you just have to take a wait and see.

We are also praying for you guys.

Yours is the first time I said a prayer for a stranger over the internet, despite reading many such requests over the years.

God only knows the reason why I did this time.  I asked for you and her to have strength through this situation.

I have a feeling that no matter what the end result, you two will be just fine.
