No, RP = Hillary

Or, as some smart guys said "if you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice"

No RP = a vote for RP

How can it be said it is a *lost vote* for Rudy when I have stated multiple times I will not vote for him

The republicans are not entitled to my vote unless they earn it.

Let us assume he gets the Republican Nomination.

Why is he more qualified than Hillary or Paul (face it he is the defacto Libertarian candidate) (the other 3rd parties are not worth mentioning), and what will he do that will make me better off.

Not what he is not going to do.

Not that he "omg he isn't hillaryz"

Why will his actions be better than hers?  List things he will do that will benefit the me.

Ron is 100% unqualified due to his 1960s-era 'All we are saaa-ying... Is give peace a chance' foreign polcy...

Hillary is allready planning 750 billion in new welfare spending, and is likely to have her husband's foreign policy 'priorities' (no war for oil or to destroy Al Queda, but we'll go to war over a barren rockpile because someone over there is being 'mean' to someone else  - in the name of the UN of course)...

IF, and I say IF Guliani becomes the nominee...

You vote for him because while not ideal, he is better than the other 2, and less likely to do damage.... Most of the major issues that we worry about (such as gun control) are able to be 'held down' by Congress... Note how much gun control made it out of Congress in the last 8 years...

If a Republican - even Rudy - wins in 08, he WILL improve our congressional position as well...

And the folks who *run* Congress with the GOP in charge are not RINOs (although some of their subordinates are)....

Finally, Rudy will continue the 'realignment' of the USSC....

Fail

That is a "I'm not hillary" arguement.

What is Rudy going to do for the country?

What ACTIONS is he going to take?

He WILL continue the war on terror...

He WILL appoint judges that are not raving liberal nutjobs (like Bader-Ginsburg)....

He WILL help the GOP gain seats in Congress...

He WILL continue to support free trade rather than pandering to organized labor....

He WILL NOT involve the US military in 'Meals On Wheels' operations....

You're just making excuses to justify your vote for hillary.

He's said he'll appoint strict constructionists and he's got a republican base that will lynch him he doesn't.

So I don't believe him.  Any other reason I should vote for him?

You never finished off the economics question.  Do you want to vote for a free market or for socialism?

What is Rudy going to do to ensure a free economy?

I'm not going to do your ground work for you.  Go dig up some position papers from him.  You're a law student, do some research.

You can start with tax reform, less spending, balanced budgets, etc etc.

are you suggesting the judges he appointed in NY were "strict constructionist", or are you (more likely) completely unaware of the types of judges he has a RECORD of appointing and instead would take the sleaze ball's word for it?

He's said he'll appoint strict constructionist.  Hillary will appoint flaming liberals.  In a Rudy v. Hillary matchup, I'll go with whoever at least says they'll do it.  He's got to appease Republicans if he wants to get/maintain congressional majorities or get reelected, remember?

But why would I do research on someone I will never vote for

So far the arguements for voting for him are:

I'm not hillary
I was mayor on 911
I'll get to be president and do the things a president does

To reward him for his years of his active work against the Second Amendment.

To reward RINOs with complete control of the Republican Party because they've done such a great job.

To keep right wing "loon" Republicans in the House from creating "gridlock" when socialist "investments", gun control legislation and other "moderate" subjects come up for a vote.

To send a strong message that social conservatives and Second Amendment believers are NOT welcome in the Republican Party.

What about the war?

What about taxes?

What about the cabinet?

Bullshit on appointing acceptable judges.

And what about UN appointments?

All would be better off under Rudy than Hillary.

A disturbing lack of details....

Aren't you a law student?  Do your own research.

You're the one who asked the question "Why should I vote for Rudy? ". Since you stated you will never vote for Giuliani it is obvious that you're just trolling for reasons why no one else should vote for him either.

It's really unfortunate that you can't figure out on your own who has the potential to do what's best for the country over the next four years. None of us will be happy if come Nov. 2008 and the choices are Clinton or Giuliani but I will hold my nose and pull the lever for Giuliani.
