The dogfights were cool, the rest of the movie was boring.
The sequel is gonna be a F-35 fest.

It was the 80's....fake, cheezy, superficial and full of other tasteless human behavior.
Top Gun was a cross section of our society at the time but we were still ready to kick the USSR's Butt !! Along with Sly Stallone in Rocky III, The Red Dawn Gang, and the Iron Eagle Crew !!

The real stars of the movie are the F-14, the F-5 and the A-4. You FAIL. It had meg Ryan when she was good looking. I still remember seeing it with my friend and his Dad(who was an Air Force pilot ,F4's and F5's) and his Dad saying I wish the fuck we had a little red button that said "EJECT". To him Top Gun was a comedy. |
