Spyderco Endura with a half serrated blade. I got arrested for it because it was too easy to open, some how this made it a deadly weapon.

I nearly always have a Buck CrossLock Solitare. It doesn't have the class of an Emerson or a Benchmade, but it stays sharp and if I lose it, the hurt($40)won't be nearly so bad! The thumb stud works so well that many people have thought that I had an auto opener. A good knife if you're on a budget.

I've been carrying some kind of a blade since I was 10 years old. Current carry is a Victorinox Matterhorn. Its a bit "chunky", but it had all the tools I use regularly.
I also have a Leatherman Micra on my keychain. The only person I've ever hurt with one of my knifes was myself and I had 3 stiches for it in my thumb. And yes I leaned a lesson there too. It really ticks me off that now I can't even carry on a plane. What's worse is that I'm the one being punished now, not the terrorists. I hate it when my way of life changes like that. I guess the Sheeple are winning this one. [xx(] |

Spyderco Endura when I'm at work. On my days off I carry an Emerson CQC7 (black-t coated, clip point) and a small Kershaw liner lock as a pocket knife.

Usually a Spider Delica, Columbia Rivers KISS knife as a money clip, a Spydercard in my wallet.

I carry the Spyderco serrated knife with the spring activate clip on the back. I would like to get the Benchmade Tanto with the half serrated blade. I believe the model number is 900 and something. I was at a knife show and looked talked to the MOD rep and they have some pretty heavy duty knives. I like the one that has a folding push bar that is used to put proper depth in a block of C4 to put the blasting cap in.

I have a Kershaw tiny two blade in my change pocket always. I bought it used for $10.00 and is a favorite as I am "corrosive" and can eat a normal knife (or gun bluing!) with the least perspiration. After about 15 yrs. the little Kershaw looks new.
I also have a Chuck Hawes' custom damascus with mammoth ivory grips, nickel-silver bolsters and Bob Schrap sheath on my belt. It sometimes raises eyebrows, but is a beautiful piece of "jewelry" that is very functional too. I skinned a beaver with it once and have gutted one deer when nothing else was sharp. It has nice file work and is quite a joy to own. I am lucky that Chuck lives just 20 miles from me and forges his own damascus in his back yard. He sells it worldwide. I am trying to buy as many of his knives as I can while I can still afford them. |

Coldsteel 4" Serrated Voyager
Used to carry a Coldsteel Safe Keeper III, but I loaned it to my brother who is in the Army at Ft. Hood and might need to ship out soon. I told him to bring it back in one piece, but if he really needs to use it, go ahead. He is in communications or 3rd Sig. Of course if he needs to use a knife over there, some one really screwed the pooch. |

SPYDERCO CHINOOK -- The folding Bowie -- gotta see it to believe it!

Love the axis-lock, but too heavy for the workday pants, so it's usually this cheap, lightweight folder from across the ocean (not THAT far!).
I would no sooner leave without some kind of knife than I would leave without my wallet or keys. |
|
Benchmade mini-stryker (serrated) or SOG JetEdge (also serrated.) I'm a big fan of the side lock.
|
|
Currently a Emerson SOCFK and a Leatherman.
Sometimes a Benchmade 47A ( tanto balisong ) in a kydex IWB sheath that I made. Sometimes a Emerson Commander in lieu of the SOCFK. What would I like to carry instead of the SOCFK/EMERSON/BENCHMADE ? Probably a Strider MT or BT. |
|
I always carry a Coast folder whether at home or in the office. Only time not is when I'm on an airplane. There's always a Leatherman Multitool in my briefcase.
In the field, on exercises I additionally carry a Gerber Applegate/Fairbarn Combat bootknife. |

schrade 470t / old timer / 1/2 serrated / one hand operation. love it ............

I make them, so I carry my own. My first one will go back to active duty with me (made of 52100 bearing race), and I sometimes carry a smaller version of it (asymmetrical dagger) made of cable damascus like the one I am working on for a friend of mine in SF- once etched, blade is very dark grey and non-reflective, and will cut through a Buck knife... (of course, the hammer destroys the spine when doing this because of differential hardening)
|
|
A three blade Buck and an A. G. Russell one hander. I 've carried that Buck since 1979. It's not very pretty anymore but it sure is sharp. I some times carry a Black Jack Mamba folder instead of the One Hander but not often.
With all the knife hystera I wonder how much longer the knee jerk nannies are going to let us carry. |
|
Camillus cuda with a tanto point. It is as fast as an automatic.
|
|
Gerber Legend 800 Multi-Plier, MUCH improved over the earlier version.
Benchmade 721 with plain edge. Best knife I have ever owned. |
|
Case peanut (various handles, but smooth bone is my favorite, 'specially peacock appaloosa) and Boker 2076 (Cocobolo)

Emerson CQC-7, although I have been playing around with a Benchmade Auto Spike lately.

Those aren't knives this is a knife!! Cold Steel Gurka light kukri in a in-side-the-pants shealth. I wonder why it's so uncomfortable sitting down??? [;)]
Serious now...Emerson CQC-7 with Swiss Army knife back-up. Regards, Talyn |

I just got a Benchmade Elishewitz Stryker with the combo blade and A Benchmade McHenry&Williams Axis Lock. The Stryker will be my carry knife, I can hardly put it down.
|
|
Cold Steel Voyager (approx 4" Tanto blade)
SOG-Tool Interestingly, I've always been able to get the folder onto airplanes w/o any problems but I was asked to put the SOG-Tool into my checked baggage. Of course, all of that's going to be different the next time I fly, I'm sure. |
|
Gerber EZ-Out and a Leatherman PSII. Sucks having to check them when flying now. Funny how I was hassled before 9/11 if the Gerber was in my pocket but stick it in my laptop bag and nobody cared.

Kershaw whirlwind,
stainless serrated. Always with me except on a plane. |
