EVERY time I go home, I go here:
The Red Onion. Nothing I've ever had anywhere else will ever compare. maps.citysearch.com/location/950132? |

Actually, the best fast food hamburgers are in NE and IA are from a small chain called RUNZA. Damn good burgers made from fresh hamburger...never frozen.
Runza |
You all have NO taste in burgers...for chain burgers Krystal wins hands down. In the south they known how to do fast and greasy. I make it a pt to 'raid' the local Krystal when I visit my dad and in-laws. Nothing beats 5 Krystal cheese, extra mustard, extra pickel and hot frys.
For regional its gotta be the Golden Bull in Las Curses, NM. If youre ever that way you should make it a point to stop by. |
THE best burger to be had is at Lardos Grill & Saloon in McCall ID.
Rallys is good and so is White Castle. White Castles' jalepenjo cheese burgers are the shiz! Too bad they gas me up so badly. |
Of the selections, Burger King.
However, Fuddruckers detroys them all. Damn! Now I'm hungry! |
Here in th NW we have Burgerville For fast food they are the best. Raise their own beef. for u anal types who like a link http://www.burgerville.com/bv.html |
YUCK...any bruger palce that trys to come off heathy...thats just wrong. I dont go to burger dives for healthy...I go for max grease (taste). I think the healthy thing must be W coast only. |

+1 double double (with no tomatoes) |
I guess the novelty of the 9mm AR has worn off because you are back posting polls.

Wow you made another Poll.
Wendy's Junior Bacon Sammiches are the Best! |
Because Krystal are not much more than a regional knock-off of the original White Castle? |
No...not even close....Krystal wins easily....Ive had both. A little bit off topic but I sure wished Krystal would bring back the waffles they used to have...the ones made while you wait. Words cant begin to describe how good they were w/ greasy eggs and frys. |

Fuddruckers
In-and-Out Beck's Prime Carl's Jr Double Western Bacon Cheeseburger with the Onion Ring....greatest hamburger of all! HH |
I have never been able to understand why people make such a big deal about Runza. It's terrible. They're tiny, dry, they'd have no taste if it weren't for being drowned in pepper, and they're expensive - even if they were edible, they'd still be too damn expensive. |
Feel free to believe that if it makes you happy - doesn't change the fact that Krystals are just White Castle knockoffs. Although to be fair, both have been around for a long time now, and both are great. But to suggest that Krystal "wins" is crazy talk. |

+1 for Griffs....we have them in shreveport 2nd place- sonic |
Burgers are like guns, their all good, try them all
Also, I amend my answer to a cheeseburger at Cabbage Key, Jimmy Buffet wrote a song about, I think I've boated there, and the burger is ok, but the atmosphere makes it primo... |
BIG KAHUNA BURGER!!!??!?!?!... that's that new HAWAIIN burger joint isn' it? haven't had a chance to try a big kahuna burger... cause my girlfirend's a vegetarian... which kinda makes ME a vegetarian. |
Well. #1 for me is....
EAT N' PARK. Their "Superburger", but add mustard and ketchup and tomato. It is like a Big Mac... but made with better ingredients... served up with some fries, and a BUNCH of pickle slices... OH MY... I gotta go now. #2 would be STEAK N' SHAKE. Double with Cheese & then add: mustard, ketchup, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, pickles, & thousand island dressing. man... I am hungry. |
Best burgers I know of come off of my grill in the backyard....and that's a FACT.
Haven't had a hamburger or any of the burger
type sandwiches in five years. There are much better food choices available. |
Culvers gets my not on the poll vote. I lived in Chicago, but had to go to Wisconsin as part of my sales territory. A Culvers butter burger, fried cheese curds and frozen custard. It should come with a referral to a good cardiologist.
In N Out Burger, double double with animal fries. There is nothing better.
+1 Whataburger kicks ass. I sure do miss that place. |
He is unwise to the burger gods. |
Tommy's in LA
Carl's Jr's (Western bacon cheeseburger) In and Out. Those are my 3 favs. |
A second vote for the green-chile cheeseburgers at the Owl Cafe in San Antonio, NM.

My personal experience:
Upper midwest states = Culver's (excellent) West and midwest states = Carl's Jr. and Hardees (very good) Southern states = Whataburger (very good) Midwest = Steak 'n Shake (good and cheap) |
FUDDRUCKERS is the best, but they are not that common in my area
IN -N- OUT is OK and they are everywhere 3rd choice is Burger King |
When did the first White Castle open? |
