Prolly 6-8in here. Roads are all fucked because of the wind and snow drifts. 40mph gusts and 25mph constant. Snow fees like getting stabbed in the face because it’s blowing sideways
Been dodging accidents all night while my coworkers write up accident reports. Thankfully our criminals here stayed the fuck inside and didn’t beat their cohabitants. One hour until my weekend! |

Hmmm no blizzard today. Forecast at 80° and sunny as we board our transport to the Bahamas.

It must have went further south. I was expecting to wake up to 5-8" and there isn't a flake on the ground.

I kind of like the idea you lead in with the holiday. It would make taking time off work easier. It was Thursday in MI this year. Gave me 2 days of firearm deer. Whoopie. View Quote |

I wish that it would snow here. I’m tired of all of you Northernrs getting all of the snow action.

Driving home View Quote There weren’t 20 Honda Accords flying past you at 75 miles per hour. I’m sorry fellas, I would love to maybe live where your guys are for one winter but screw that. Dealing with that snow half the year would be disheartening. Best of luck! |

Wish we could get a blizzard here in TN, well maybe just 4-8”.

I wish you all the best of luck. As a matter of solidarity I will wear long pants and a long sleeve shirt today along with a wife beater tee shirt. They are talking of a high of 57 and a low tonight of 37. Time to break out the egg nog and sing White Christmas.

Still coming down, 6-8 inches so far. Just shoveled a bit. Hopefully nobody drives stupid enough to hit me on the way to work.

I'm sitting here in the dark because I have no power. Roads are shit, passed at least 6 cars in the ditch on my way home from work. Anyone else getting hit by this storm? View Quote |

Keep that shit up there.
Of course we got our semi-daily allotment of rain this morning. It's supposed to start raining again Friday all the way thru to next Wednesday then maybe snow.....Wettest year on record they are saying. |

Southern plates, like Kentucky?

Western WV here. No snow, but temps are dropping very quickly and the wind is gusty.

Got a few inches here in the Springs, with lots of wind. The sun came back the next day, melted it, as it tends to do here. The mountains got it good, especially in the north--I read that Mt. Zirkel got 38"-39".

I’m 20 miles east of Madison and all I heard about the last few days was we were going to get hammered. Not. A. Damn. Snowflake. (Except the living breathing ones from Dane County) View Quote Now is the time to pick up old snow blowers and fix them up if you are into that sort of thing though. |

It'll pass over soon, haven't been out to see just how bad we got it.
I can barely see out of any of the windows, the wind has covered them up with snow. Normally I'd have just got into the car and went to work, but Monday is my day off, (4) 10's T-F, but I normally work them. Didn't feel like fighting the bad drivers, double the commute time, working 10, and then coming home to clear it in the dark. Pine tree branches are on the ground, it started really wet and has been really windy, gusts over 30mph; actual blizzard. 30* and NNW winds at 16mph with gusts now, snow till about 3:30pm. |

Windy with some rain showers here in Central Ohio but no snow Thank God.

True that. We used to have a hilarious traffic reporter, Keith Kalland may he Rest In Peace, who used to start his broadcast segment screaming “car firrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!” Over and over Anytime we had one. It was mimicking the craziness people go through when they see a car fire. It was stuff of legend! View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Not here in Coloradograd. Even Denver was relatively snow free.

I think we ended up right at 12-13", the rural roads haven't all been plowed out and some are drifted a few feet shut at the moment. Main highways weren't too bad this morning, did 45mph on I-80.

Health officials confirmed four cases tied to E. coli bacteria and 13 likely cases in people who ate the sandwiches at several gatherings late last year, the CDC said a report issued this week in its journal Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report.
The meat came from a Watertown market that later recalled more than 2,500 pounds of meat. Cannibal sandwiches were tied to outbreaks in Wisconsin in 1972, 1978 and 1994. The appetizer, also called "tiger meat," "steak tartare" or simply "ground beef," is usually a simple dish of lean ground meat seasoned with salt and pepper on rye cocktail bread with sliced raw onion, said Milwaukee historian John Gurda, who served it at his 1977 wedding reception. Occasionally, a raw egg will be mixed with the meat. |
