You mean the Balkan States of America? Balkanized - I have an idea thats an accurate prediction. The skeptic in me see's the demographic shift with our unchecked immigration, low birth rates, unsustainable debt, etc., and can see the walls tumbling down. The idealist in me though says I have never voted "white". I don't live in a "white" area - its pretty mixed. Me the idealist says we need to fight this in the arena of ideas and values. A conservative and a patriot is a colorless label to me. Our damn problem in this country shouldn't be a race problem or class problem - its a perspective problem. We don't have a clue as to where we come from, what liberty and opportunity has been provided to us by the blood, sweat and tears of our ancestors and we are too willing to whine and focus on our failures - every society has them - instead of looking to what is good, noble and right in our heritage.  OK, I've been seeing this coming for a long ass time. I don't like it, because the coming Hispanic majority is coming into every part of the nation, including my turf. I don't really give a flying fuck about California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas... Let the Hispanics take all that back. California is a lost cause.
I don't like seeing all these Hispanics up in the Appalachians though. I will admit I have prejudices and Neo-Confederate attitudes. I believe one ethnic-group=one nation. I enjoy other cultures and ways of life, Mexican's know how to throw some bitching drinking parties; but when other cultures start to tear apart MY culture is when I get a bit disgusted with the 'melting pot' concept. |

Peak Oil is going to halt the demographic transformation of the United States and Europe. Immigration will be halted, millions will be deported or voluntarily leave. The world is going to enter a very long, very bad depression, there won't be 7 billion people on the planet when the smoke clears either.
The only political party as of yet that understands this is the BNP, we'll see most likely see hard right nationalism in the U.S. and other European countries well as conditions begin to drastically deteriorate. The future isn't bright and awesome, it is dystopian and dark. Very few of you guys don't seem to understand that perpetual growth will not and can not continue, there are limits to growth. Human population is in overshoot, it is going to contract worldwide. Do you really think we'll be driving around in cars come 2050? |

I believe these numbers are inaccurate. They don't account for the future ILLEGAL immigrants who will continue to violate our borders with total disregard for our laws. Once again I state that in the months and years ahead white people in this country will learn exactly how white people in Zimbabwe and South Africa feel. What has happened in Africa EVERY time a European power has abandoned a colony? The natives promptly have reverted to tribal savagery. Don't think it won't happen here when "they" have the numbers and guns. It will. Humans are pretty much the same everywhere. On the other hand, they don't even have to fire a shot. All they have to do is take over the political system - which they will through sheer numbers - and then use socialism to tax everything away from decent hard working Americans and "reapportion" it to themselves. I'll be dead by 2050. Until then I plan to live in areas mostly inhabited by whites. Not because I'm racist but because I like to be able to go outside my home at night and keep the same car for a couple of years. I didn't have children. My heart felt condolences to those of you who did. |

Wait until it drops off the plateau and goes into terminal decline, It's almost 2010 now, not 1980, oil extraction has peaked. I bet you too think your lifestyle will never end and will continue to get better and better, unfortunately I have news for you. It's not going to continue. I hope you enjoyed it while it lasted. Peak Oil is a black swan event, demographers can not account for the harsh reality of the future. The .gov has been aware of it for many years, read the Hirsch report. |

I hate to break it to you guys, but "white" according to the US census isn't the same as "white" would be to most of us. It is a much more inclusive term according to the census, which tries to absorb a lot of other ethnic types into one fold. Why? I used to ask my self this question, but as I got older I realized that the percentage of "white" people has dropped through the floor, and they (gov, news, ect) didn't want to report that because it would freak people out. America whites (I am one) are the only ethnic group I have ever seen who put other ethnic groups above their own people. We do it all the time. We get laughed at a lot over it, and taken advantage of over it. I mourn the loss of the white majority in the US, and wish it wasn't like this. Flame away... |

I bet you too think your lifestyle will never end and will continue to get better and better, unfortunately I have news for you. It's not going to continue. I hope you enjoyed it while it lasted. Peak Oil is a black swan event, demographers can not account for the harsh reality of the future. The .gov has been aware of it for many years, read the Hirsch report. Get real. I was at Peakoil.com when gas prices were hitting 4 bucks. They were declaring the event to be the beginning of the end. Everybody knows the oil won't last forever, and that prices will go up. If we can develop enough bombs to blow up the world several times over, and put a man on the moon, we can develop a substitute for oil. In fact, I'm sure one probably already exists, but the whole corporate profits thing is keeping it out of sight. Cornucopian nonsense, you need a liquid fuel substitute, there is none that can match the energy density of oil at the same costs. The guys at peakoil.com were simply being alarmist, but last years prices are simply a taste of things to come. Peak Oil is all about the supply side, you are talking about a substitute, you admit oil is finite. Blind faith in human ingenuity will not work and will not maintain our current lifestyle. The future will be far different than what many dream of. There is nothing that will replace oil and maintain our current lifestyle, the only replacement the market will concoct is doing without. You can make bombs, but you can not break the laws of thermodynamics, you can not make energy from nothing. The elephant in the room is overpopulation, perpetual growth can not go on forever. The greatest shortcoming of the human race, is our inability to understand exponential growth.

Hate to break up the doom and gloom, but there are over 226 million whites in the US. If they were counted as their own country, they would be the 5th largest country in the world, larger than the population of Brazil and only slightly smaller than the population of Indonesia.

I know a few "non-white Americans" who hold similarly conservative views to my own.
Of course, I met most of them at places you'd expect people with conservative views to congregate. I also know quite a few "white Americans" who are complete liberal pieces of work. That doesn't mean ether of these are the norm though. |
