the CZ 52 does have a more modern over engineered look , but I think the Tokarev is a better design
the metal clip that retains the grips also breaks easily if you remove the grips [brittle] the quality reminds me a late war German P38 by Spreewerk, kind of crude |

I own both.
I have tried to love my CZ-52, but for some reason, I just cannot shoot it as accurately as the T-33. The T-33 was bought without any expectation that it would be accurate, but surprised me by being very accurate. Mine is a tack driver. If I had to choose one, I would get the T-33.

I think the TT is cooler from a historical perspective.
Also the trigger is much better on the TT. The CZ feels like a chiseled block in my hands. The TT is like a 1911 on a diet. I bought 25 TT mags from SOG when they had them for $7.95. One thing I notice is the people that "prefer" the CZ have never shot a TT. People that have both tend to choose the TT.
