I have a 2GB and 4GB SanDisk sitting right here, and ordered a 16GB the other day.   The 16GB MicroSD card I have sitting here is Adata... an off-brand, but it works fine.

I'll stick with sandisk. I've got a 128MB one that been thru the washer twice and the dryer at least once.  Still works, I used it today.

Thanks for all the input.

At this point I'll just be using this to backup a bunch of folders on my desktop which contain a number of docs, photos, etc.  I know it's not really the optimal solution, but it'll have to do for now.

Any tips or tricks on the absolute best way to verify or confirm that all the data from the various folders has been properly, accurately and completely transferred / copied to the flash drive ?
