If anybody plans to send this tobacco products, it needs to get there fresh. Get one of those vacuum sealers and seal it in plastic bag and then it send. The vac sealer is also very useful around the house.

My friend Kenton always likes a carefully disected case of Pepsi, that was carefully refilled with Budwieser. They are only allowed to get non-alcholic shit like odouls. Other than that a decent set of Sunglasses and Goggles ( Spy) some gatorade, and Magazines like, Maxim, stuff, and Sports Illustrated. Thats the stuff that keeps em going.

any hygeine stuff that he cant find there...
snuff...
Maxim, Stuff, FHM, ect..
paperbacks...
pictures of the normal life his family is leading(hurts some, helps more)...
letters from hot conservative women you gave his address to(just go up to women in the mall and ask them-alot of them. he'll be considered legend in his unit)....

whiskey in glass bottles seem to get through.

Buddy of mine went in during Desert Storm (I was only 10 then). One thing that he said he really appreciated was those moist wipes (yes, like the ones you use when you change a diaper). Not much time/opportunity to shower out there, and washing your face with one of those was, according to him, the most refreshing thing all day.

Show em you're voting for a guy that REALLY cares about him.

I think a knife is a great idea also, if you did get one you might want
to have it engraved. I am sure you could come up with some words that
might be inspirational for him.
Its not hard to find places that will do it for a good price.
( they seem to be in every mall I have ever been to. )
Something that could remind him his fam/country is praying for him
while he is away, and somthing he can reflect on when he comes home.
