First gun I ever owned was a Ruger Mark II stainless bull-barrel .22 lr with a 5.5 inch barrel.  Drop dead accurate, but heavy.

I then bought a SIG Sauer P229 in 9mm and a Colt AR15A2 sporter with the A1 upper receiver and sights.

I ended up selling all those when I was cash strapped.

Then I bought a Ruger KP90DC (great pistol) and a Remington M700 PSS in .308.  Sold the Ruger to pay for a SIG P220, Sold the Remington to pay for an M1A supermatch.  Sold the Ruger Blackhawk .357 because I lost interest in cowboy guns.

Somewhere along the line I picked up a 10/22.  I like that rifle a lot.

Ruger M77 with Leupold 3x9 Vari-Xii on it.  Bought it at a gunshow for $250 (yeas a long time ago).  It was a nice gun, but I never really liked it.  Kicked too much, and I was just a kid at the time.  Never got any accuracy out of it, but I didn't know much back then either.

First gun was a Sig 225.  Have had it for over ten years, and is still a primary carry piece, alongside my Glock 21.

I'd write my own, but what Soulzero said is exactly the same for me so I'll just quote his post [:)]

I did use an Airsoft BB rifle before I got my Crosman pistols, but it wasn't mine, it was my dad's.
