Maybe not all-time favorites, but I always liked the

No, he isn't .

Developed by the Brits early on in WW2, as they found themselves seriously lacking in the anti-tank role.

Dropped after development of the PIAT, if I recall correctly.

During the Korean War, some ground troops were battling a North Korean tank and called in for naval gunfire support.

An offshore battleship responded to the call.  The result of the gunfire was reported by the ground troops as "there wasn't enough left of that tank to make thumb tacks."

So, I'm voting battleships.

No, it's in the field manual. You can check it out if you'd like.

M40 106mm recoiless.

Never fired one, but  got to watch range day in South Korea, the ROKS still use them. the HEAT round supplied is useful on armor up to (iirc) 400mm.  I'm betting I could cobble up a mount for the Nissan.

My first MOS was 0351 (Guns) 106mm Recoiless Rifleman...it was a ass kicker but the firing signature was an open invitation to return fire. We made sure to scoot as soon as we shot. And beehive rounds were a bonus.

I can assure you it's NOT the goddamn M47 Dragon. Two years of humping that POS around Germany made me hate that fucker with a passion. Fuck it, it's shitty ass 1000 meter range, it's slow ass 100 m/s speed, it's heavy ass components, and it's almost always pink humidity indicator. (Blue - it's true, White - it might, Pink - it stinks)

This brought a smile.

I happened to be in the very first class to get trained on the Dragon at Ft  Bragg, around '74 or '75.  We were told we were the first in the Army to be trained on the then-new system.  Spent two weeks in training, IIRC, and got a C2 skill identifier out of it.  To this day I have not forgiven my old platoon sergeant for forgetting to send me to the range on the day I was supposed to fire a live round.

There were no field training systems available yet at that time, and they weren't about to let us take live systems to the field, so I'm thankful I never had to hump it. Just as well, I was already a 203 gunner and RTO at the time.

A few years later (after a break in service and ROTC) my battalion  commander, upon discovering  I had previous training on the system, made me the battalion Dragon training officer.  Got to conduct all the training for the battalion's Dragon gunners, but still never got to fire a live round.

Preach it brother.  My first line unit assignment in Germany in the 80's was Dragon gunner.  Had to keep up with both day and night optics, tubes etc.  After firing and leaving a no shit good back blast/smoke target, having to guide that slow bitch to target.

Doing live fire with some of the older rockets was interesting.  Some hit and just slowly caught fire, a few actually hit and exploded, and several went wherever the hell they wanted, regardless of how good you were on target.  Glad I never had to shoot one at a shooting back target.

The problem the Soviets had with the bomb dog trick was that to get the dogs used to being around noisy, smelly tanks and go towards them instead of run away from them they used to train them by feeding them beneath their own running tanks, the problem was to the dogs the German tanks sounded and smelled different than Russian ones, so when the dogs went operational guess which tanks they ran towards? Spoiler: It wasn't the German ones.

Pretty sure the guy that came up with that cunning plan got an NKVD bullet in the back of his neck after a few dozen T-34s got smoked by their own "weapon system."

They had a psychological effect on the Germans.

I've read accounts from German soldiers where'd they shoot all dogs on sight, "just in case".

You haven't met many tankers, have you? They may have to get out sometimes, but they rarely dismount. If they don't piss in a bottle and toss it out a hatch, they'll just stand on the deck and piss. Hell, some of them will even drop trou, grab the tube, and hang their naked ass over the side to take a shit.
