I have a now near 10 year old Surefire 6Z as my "bedside" flashlight. I have a 2 C cell maglight for the car, and a 4 D cell maglight for bigger jobs around the house. My primary AR has a Surefire 961C for a weapon light.
Cr123 batteries aren't a problem, as certain tools in my present command uses them. When I need some, I just grab 'em.

Inova X1, X5, T2.5(it looks like a T3 but the package said T2, who knows)  I also like my good old six cell mag lite, for beating people in the head with.    I call it the "lead filled baseball bat".
