My dream car would be my current '92 Mustang with about $10K in more mods and work.  I could also stand to have 1969 Mach 1 with a 351 4 bbl in the garage.  Which would not leave room in there for ARlady's Chevelle.  Darn, too bad[:D]

In '69, at the tender age of 9, I fell in love with a bright red Dodge Charger Daytona. [8D]

I can also show you the very spot at the Ford dealership where they had a '70 428 Mach l setting. Grabber Blue, shacker scoop, window louvers, 4 speed...the works. I lost my heart again. [:P]

Ten years later, I found a gold '70 Mustang fastback at the same dealer. I was the third owner. 351 Cleveland and auto. Just a plain-jane, but she was mine. I sold her after 17 years to a couple of brothers looking for something to restore. (something I couldn't afford to do. [:(] [:(]

A friend of mine came up with a twin to mine! Except his was a Mach l, 4 spd. Same interior, color and style, and exterior paint and enigine. We had GREAT fun!!! [:D]

edited because I was drooling/crying all over the keyboard [BD]

I'm going to have to go with the Viper as well, with the addition of the latest Hennessy Motorsports engine mod.  Twin-turbo 800 horsepower!  0-60 in 2.4 seconds.  I'd probably need some of thoe Henessy suspension, braking, and other miscelaneous mods just to keep me from smacking into things.  All total the car would be up in the 200K price range.

Sure makes my AR-15 habit look cheap.

I love top down driving, and currently have 2 convertibles.  If I could add to my collection:

1 - Porsche Carrera GT (just like the picture)
   http://www.us.porsche.com/english/news/modelinformation/carreragt/default.htm

2 - Ferrari 550 Barchetta
3 - AMG SLK 32
4 - AMG SL73
5 - BMW Z8 with matching colored M Roadster
6 - Shelby Series 1 (born in the USA)
   http://members.nbci.com/dvaderolds/shelby.html

My budget makes these almost impossible to own.  I would like to restore an old '72 Nova 350, like the one I had as a teen.  I would also like to find a Fiat Spider 2000, like one I sold 10 years back.

Gotta say--

It's not the fastest, but for some reason, the Porsche 928 has always been the car I figured on getting "when I make it".

Ideal mix would be a 928, Mercedes 500 series (or, I think it's AMG that customizes the 300's?), and a big SUV type (Hummer, Expedition, etc.)
