Realistic stuff, I mean.  "I want a 40mm Bofors" probably isn't realistic.  I was playing around the other day and surprisingly, the list of stuff I want really isn't that long, or (relatively speaking) that expensive.  Doesn't make it much more attainable given my finances, but still, it's not too depressing.

1. 5.56 suppressor
2. .22lr suppressor
3. 10.5"/11.5" upper + SBR stamp
4. Microdot-type optic for above
5. Night vision
6. As always, a Browning HP

The only thing I've knocked off the list in the last couple years are an SPR-style upper and a pocket pistol (got an LCP).  The damn tax stamps make No. 1-3 more expensive and more of a hassle than they should be.     Other than the stuff above, though, I think I'm getting to the point at age 44 where I'm pretty happy with what I've got.

Now all I need is disposable income.

I am wierdly sated myself. I have a big weapon slush fund but right now having liquid assets for an emergency is more important to me than another gun.

But if the MR556 or the MR762 slipped down to $2100, I would use my savings.

-a Lahti 20mm & a PTRD

-a U.S. 57mm recoilless like the one featured on Youtube & owned by the ordnance.com guys (one also showed up on Sons-of-Guns).

Just added another check mark to the list.  Nesika model J benchrest in 6ppc, left bolt, right port.  Very early production from the Poulsbo Washington shop.

Three others still to be acquired - I guess the finding part is easy.  The paying for part is the obstacle to overcome -

I need to get some stuff before the new ruling takes effect. I'm just sick of all the bullshit this past year creating panic buys. First it was the Rifles that had a bottom mag feeding design. Then it was PMags and any other mag that you thought was going to get banned. Then the ammo and then the cheapest ammo that was always available .22. Now it's the coveted Class Three weapons. Suppressors, SBR'S, SBS and MACHINEGUNS. I'm a little short on funds and I can't just try and cover all the bases. This one though seems like if you don't buy it now you may never get it.

Do it! This is an AAC 762SD.  It's a bummer that it's an older 18 tooth sprung model, but oh well, that's a risk you run when buying stuff without knowing what's next.  It doesn't harm performance though.  Shooting .308, it sounds like someone fired an unsuppressed .22lr rifle at the same time a large tire bursts.  I have 4 suppressors (different calibers) and while not the quietest, it by far has the hardest job, and does a very good job.  Rifle is a SPS Tactical with the non Hogue plastic stock.  I intentionally didn't get a freefloated barrel as I knew I was going to hang this heavy beast off the end.

I shot my best 100 yard group ever with this rifle, with the suppressor on.  (GA Arms .308 168 Matchkings).
