More like a shopping list.

Realistic stuff, I mean. "I want a 40mm Bofors" probably isn't realistic. I was playing around the other day and surprisingly, the list of stuff I want really isn't that long, or (relatively speaking) that expensive. Doesn't make it much more attainable given my finances, but still, it's not too depressing. 1. 5.56 suppressor 2. .22lr suppressor 3. 10.5"/11.5" upper + SBR stamp 4. Microdot-type optic for above 5. Night vision 6. As always, a Browning HP The only thing I've knocked off the list in the last couple years are an SPR-style upper and a pocket pistol (got an LCP). The damn tax stamps make No. 1-3 more expensive and more of a hassle than they should be. Other than the stuff above, though, I think I'm getting to the point at age 44 where I'm pretty happy with what I've got. Now all I need is disposable income. In no particular order:
Glock 26 CZ 22lr or Ruger American Rimfire O/U 20ga shotgun |

Don't have one. I'm good. Never thought I'd say that View Quote I am wierdly sated myself. I have a big weapon slush fund but right now having liquid assets for an emergency is more important to me than another gun. But if the MR556 or the MR762 slipped down to $2100, I would use my savings. |

I will be buying #1 this coming Feb will have enough saved and then #2 during my 11 month wait. (Yes wait time door to door is that long if not longer now) |

Those are super-fun. If I could find one for a reasonable price, I'd jump on it in a heartbeat, even with a 12-month wait. Unfortunately, prices seem to be insane. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I'll play - since we are "wishing" here:
-an FN BAR-D in 6.5x55mm -a WW II Johnson automatic rifle (great grand-daddy of the AR-15) -a Tavor -a CZ-700 -a Lahti 20mm & a PTRD -a U.S. 57mm recoilless like the one featured on Youtube & owned by the ordnance.com guys (one also showed up on Sons-of-Guns). |
|
1. 5.56 suppressor
2. FN five seven 3. Sig P226 4. CZ97 BD 5. Kahr PM45 6. Mossberg M500 |
|
Other than the NFA stuff I already have in process, my list is very short as well.
I handled all the "needs" and even most of the "wants" long ago and now it's down to the latest/greatest and a unicorn or two... 1) 7.62 suppressor 2) SIG P210 (prefereably and older model) 3) Kel-Tec KSG 4) Kel-Tec PMR 5) Kel-Tec RMR (if it ever comes out) 6) Beretta ARX-100 (ditto) Yes, three KTs on the list, hate all you want but I really have everything else covered and those three are oddities that really appeal to me. I'm sure I will keep buying any good deal that I come across that appeals to me (old S&W revolvers, Glocks, etc.) and keep building/tinkering with ARs, but that's all I really want right now. |

Another Bersa Thunder 380. My wife kidnapped mine and I haven't seen it since.
Colt Combat Commander Another Colt Lightweight Commander. Mine's 25+ years old and needs a break. Winchester M97 shotgun cut down to an SBS. I have a picture from "The Wild Bunch" that shows Pike carrying one. Regular M1897 with 18-20" barrel. Double barrel shotgun like the one in the original 3:10 to Yuma The proper parts to make an 264LBC upper Rebarrel my 300 WBY to 375 WBY CZ550. Not sure of caliber. Probably 9.3x62 or 375 H&H That's all I can think of for now. The list will change in a minute. |

I need to get some stuff before the new ruling takes effect. I'm just sick of all the bullshit this past year creating panic buys. First it was the Rifles that had a bottom mag feeding design. Then it was PMags and any other mag that you thought was going to get banned. Then the ammo and then the cheapest ammo that was always available .22. Now it's the coveted Class Three weapons. Suppressors, SBR'S, SBS and MACHINEGUNS. I'm a little short on funds and I can't just try and cover all the bases. This one though seems like if you don't buy it now you may never get it.

I'd buy a M45B for $6-8K in a heartbeat (and push aside old women and children to do so), but the prices seem to be around $12K these days. Even though they are functionally very similar, the MK760s just don't do much for me. |
