Its big so it looks good on screen. Has a decocker and safety so he can flip the lever or cock it to show that he means business. Every thug in the movies has a gold Deagle, but the 23 is solid black and has class. Its a 45. |

NO way NO how would dirty harry carry a plastic gun… heck, I like Xd's but I'm not so much a fanboy that I would make a crazy statement like that
He would not be able to say "the most powerful handgun in the world" line if he carried a g20… He would have to say "this is like the seventh or eight most powerful handgun in the world and it will probably blow up before I get a chance to blow your head partially off"

Glcok 10 mm makes sense but I think the better dramatic choice would be a 6" 1911 in 10mm...

Like an STI Perfect 10 The more I think about it, the less the 10mm makes sense as most non-gun people don't know how bad-ass the 10mm is. They would probably confuse it with 9mm or think "Oh, it's just 1 more better than 9mm." That's not how DH rolls. I'm changing my vote to the .500 S&W. The .500 S&W makes the most sense as it stays true to DH using the most powerful production pistol available. The 500 S&W is the correct choice if they remake Dirty Harry:
