There is nothing like the fun of being a lawyer.
You are at the car repair shop, or the cleaners, or anywhere else people get screwed. The jackass in change always seems to "explain" the "law", all about how he wins. I hand over a card, smile, and say "I'll bet you think that me saying 'I'm going to sue your ass off' is just a figure of speech, don't you?" Or someone threatens to sue me, and I laugh in their face and ask how many years they have to spend in court. |

Happy shooter.... the question was "What do you drink?" Besides your victims blood? Always enjoyed that warm, slightly salty taste myself...

I like Heineken, Moosehead, Rolling Rock, or Tecate (long neck, witha slice of lime). I don't drink pisswater cheap beer(keystone, lights...etc).. though Utah beer IS only 3.2 :(

De Nile.
My favorite...[;D] If I drank alcoholic beverages: Polar Beer. Been so long I can't remember who makes it, but, it is made with Polar Glacier water. Super clean taste. My absolute favorite was Guinness Stout, with Ballard Bitter a close second. Google search for Guinness Stout: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=ISO-8859-1&oe=ISO-8859-1&q=Guinness+Stout&btnG=Google+Search Since I do not: Kaliber, by Guinness. Good NON-alcoholic beverage. Clean and skunky, at the same time. Yummy. [beer] |

beer? what's that?
:) well I'm only 18 so it doesn't matter. Can't drink for another 3 years. |

Tap - Guinness
Bottle - Negro Modelo, Corona Bourbon before any beer. |

prk and CAPITALIST,
Check your "Yellow Pages" for BEER MAKING SUPPLIES to find a local shop. They will be happy to set you up with a decent starter setup. Be warned, it's addictive. Been homebrewing for 24 years now. [beer]Don't worry, drink a homebrew![beer] coyote3 |

I have yet to sample a beer that isn't reminiscent of sour battery acid.
As far as mass produced bru goes i find Heineken tolerable. but I'm a sucker for a tall cold bottle of Belgian Kriek Lambic. |

Stoney's; Smithton, PA (semi-obsolete)
Straub; St. Mary's, PA Rolling Rock; Latrobe, PA Yuengling; Pottsville, PA (token East Coaster) Of course, nothing beats Wild Turkey and N2O |

There are two great things that came out of Milwaukee, Harley Davidson Motorcycles and Old Milwaukee Beer!
|
|
Bushmills
or maybe if I must drink beer, something honest and real like PBR or Dixie or Lone Star. |
|
Budweiser- When I want to get drunk and stupid. Guiness, Sam Adams- Goes great with a top notch meal. I can't believe this Sam Adams Light stuff, just doesn't seem right from a company that did so much for the beer market. |
|
Guiness! Guiness! Guiness! (but not too cold)
For something lighter, I like Amstel Light. Gotta go, getting thirsty! |
|
Hey BLK223
As a lawyer in training they won't let us bite "real" victims yet (not until I get my series 7). So for now we get to bite small rabbits and squirrels. But it gets better, in my summer internship, I'm told we'll visit the local blood bank for something along the lines of a "wine tasting" event! |
|
I don't know how widely it's distributed since it's brewed here in Ft. Collins, CO. but I love Fat Tire. Far in a way the best beer I've ever tasted.
|
|
it's gotta be Corona 1st. I have been know to pull the lid off a Moosehead or two in my day. Kirin Ichiban will work too.
|
|
If given a choice, Guiness or Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Otherwise, anything thats cold.

PA and the other EastCoasters are representing well here, so...count another vote for Yuengling Traditional Lager...
When none is available, though, I have a few fallback (pun intended) beers... Miller Highlife Victory Dark Lager (PA peoples...if you haven't tried this place's beers, you're missing out! Their food's great, too!http://www.victorybeer.com Michelob Amberbock Schaeffer |

I will never understand the whole Corona thing. After all whats the first thing they tell you about Mexico......DON"T DRINK THE WATER. Then why is it OK to drink the beer that's made out of the water? [:\][>:/][:X*]
Dumb just plain dumb If you ask most women why they drink it they will tell you it's becasue they think the bottle is "pretty". |
|
Sam Adams seasonals are my fall back position. I prefer the local Wachusett Nut Brown Ale and the Summer Ale. I also drink Guiness quite a bit.
When I am out, I like a good black and tan made with Guiness Stout and Bass Ale or Harp Lager. But if the bartender is a hamfisted moron rushing too much, they mix the components and screw it up. You've got to go slow to float the Guiness properly on top of the ale. Using a nice large spoon helps a lot. Yuengling is great drinking beer. Dominion beers are nice as well. I'm always game for a local beer. When I was stationed in Germany, the local Bamberger Krystalweissen was excellent. I couldn't stand the EKU 28 syrup that the macho idiots drank. ...then there was the New Guy Bloody Mary we whipped up at the Green Goose. About 25% tobasco. Ouch! Poor kid drank it all and spent the next day screaming on the toilet. |

Labatt Blue
Maybe it's because I'm only a few hours from the border, but I'm a fan of Canadian beer. BTW, it's even better when you get it IN Canada! |

Quoted: ^5, reddobie..... Newcastle it is!! [:D] When I can find it, I'll pick up Blue Moon, a Belgian wheat ale under the Coor's distributing label. View Quote I love Newcastle. Chimay Ale is very nice too. Also drink Pecan Street Lager, and Shiner Bock, local beers. Miss Magnum, you might also look for the Celis line of beers, brewed here in Austin, by a Belgian, but sold a few years ago to Miller, I believe. They have a wheat beer, very nice. |

rallywagon...You are paying attention! Thanks for the great topic! I loved the wine tasting @ the Blood Bank reply. A little Vitamin V, about 50% mix would be awesome for starters.
Seriously, I have really enjoyed this topic and best of everything in law school! My wife is a legal assistant and the boss has bailed me out of several situations...I CAN'T DRIVE 55! If it doesn't fit you must aquit... |
