So far I've only fired the ones we were allowed to fire in Basic. I was not Infantry, SO:
M16A1 M60 Been 15 years since then, and I need to get to one of the AZ ARF get-togethers or the big ARF get-togethers and fire some more select-fire goodies. |

Military issue weapons:
M16A1, M16A2, ...cool on both counts, though I prefered the A2 burst. M60, on tripod, bipod, vehicle mounted, and of course the obligatory Rambo style...very cool M2, on tripod, Naval ship mount, and vehicle mounted, ...as fu#%ing cool as it gets! M249 SAW, on bipod, Rambo style... very cool, very fast ROF when cranked up. Military training with other weapons: AK47, AKM, AK74.... Commie weapons, but training with our enemy's weapons was definitely a cool way to spend some time in the military... Very cool indeed! Privately owned weapons: Mac 10/11 MP5/HK94 Sten MkII |

... One of the nice things about living in Arizona all my life is that I’ve been lucky enough to shoot just about every major-brand machinegun in existence.
... Another serendipity living in this State is that it’s a haven for Title 1 FFL and Class 2 SOT manufacturers, so our streets are awash in machine guns. We’re also home to Dillon Precision and several other companies of machinegun-related notoriety. ... The Grand Slam for me is the company I work for used to have a division on campus that designed and produced automatic cannons for various military applications. Engineers were always testing prototype and production machineguns and cannons in the underground bunker here; yes a bunker right in the city limits – few residents in Mesa even know it. Unfortunately we sold that division of the company off and I no longer have access to the facility. ... At times, it seems you can’t swing a dead cat here and not hit an NFA owner; not like that’s a bad thing. |

This was by far my favorite!! HK UMP .45 also shot not shown: mg-39, m16, mp-5, hk91 sbr. every year impact guns has a machine gun shoot where the general public can shoot. If you have never fired FA save your money and come next year. |

Grease gun
M16 M240 - the best of the bunch by far. Don't remember ever seeing one jam in 100,000 or so rds. M2 - accurate and powerful, but quirky. Almost shot my tank commander once when I slammed the top cover down, and it fired off a burst. He shouldn't have been that close to the muzzle anyway. Sterling smg |

It's like watching tennis balls fly down range . Tennis balls that EXPLODE, that is. It is like a small arty barrage. I pity anyone who has to lay in the beaten zone under one of those... Anyone on OUR side that is. Fuck the terrorists. |

So far:
M16, several. And a S&W pistol that was FA only. Boy, did that thing have muzzle climb. I went from throwing dirt to cutting tree limbs when it went off. Dealer friend never told me what to expect. He just laughed. I was like WTF? Danny |
