More ammo... for the HK USP .40 I recieved yesterday, for my AR, and probably some 12 ga. slugs.

The first thing I need to get is another gun safe. [:\]

And I really need a place to stack the ammo.

I don't need any more guns.

AK type rifle.  1911 clone.  Autoloading 12 gauge.  Another safe.
I'll be lucky  to buy one of those this coming year.

Actually I'm hoping to just be able to keep the ones I already have...... That no unforeseen misfortune forces me to sell one or two or all![rolleyes]

With that said and tax season upon us, I plan on adding another AR.  Something with a 16” barrel…… Maybe a Cav arms with the new MKII receiver![snoopy]

Or if I can’t find an AR in my price range at the time I’ll seek out another Fal!

Tex: Has she shot the P239 in .40 yet? It's got quite a snappy recoil. I have one and even with Hogue finger grips it's still snappy, and my GF likes to shoot and she HATES THAT GUN. Claims it recoils more than my 1911A1 .45 (which she LOVES to shoot) and just as much as my 357 (she doesn't like that one either). Have her try it first if she hasn't. You might want to look at that in 9MM, however if you DO buy the .40 you can always get a 357Sig conversion for it. If you buy the 9MM, you're stuck with 9MM. BTW, my P239 is my carry weapon 98% of the time. I love it, and it's quite accurate for a small handgun.
Firearms aquisitions for 2004? Hmmm... the GF says NO MORE GUNS (right[rolleyes]) so I may have to concentrate on mods for what I already have, though she knows if I ever see a Savage lever action in 300Savage I'm gonna buy it. (model 49?) I'm about handgunned out but SHE used to own a Python and I think if the price was right on one of those, we'd go for it as well. We've landed a few good contracts for 2004 and if things pan out ($-wise) I may go for a "sniper rifle" set-up. Something I can dial in for 500+yds and keep it there, instead of jacking around with one of my hunting rifles. Thinking also of having some custom work done to my HiPower. Time will tell.

Just a small list for me:

- WWI dated 1911
- 1903 Springfield
- Garand
- BAR, semi-auto, WWI config.
- Winchester Model 97 Trench Gun

I don't know about y'all, but the "short" list never seems to get much shorter -
- a Garand
- an '03 Springfield
- a lightweight AR with 16" barrel

The first 3 are highest priority.  The 16" AR will be my primary concealed carry gun in my truck when the court gets sorted out later next month.

- an AR with wood furniture
- rebarrel a short action Model 700
- get a 1911 "accurized"
- a 20 gauge side by side shotgun
- finish my FAL
- some BPC rifles; a Ballard, Highwall, '74 Sharps, and a '75 Sharps - calibers TBD
- an old Winchester or two, takedown versions
- fab a Picatinny rail for my SSG
- plus others that escape me for now.

Suppressed Ruger MkII.
Can for my Uzi.
If the AWB goes away, SBR one of my ARs and put a can on it.

Title I stuff doesn't interest me as much anymore.  I really don't need more guns at this point though, I just need to spend more on ammo to actually shoot them.

I'm getting married => no money for toys, however I think I can scrimp and save and will come up with a 458 Socom rifle from Teppojutsu or tromix.

I am currently looking high and low for a SP-1. I have never been a Pony freak, but I want an old SP1. Traingle handguards, no FA, prefer 3 prong FH.

Older WWI or WWII era 1911. Since Remington Rand was the biggest supplier, anyone but them.

CMP Garand

Whatever I do or dont buy.....

I will not buy another safe, I will not buy another safe, I will not buy another damn safe that I will just fill up!!!!!

Well, fresh ammo 9mm and 5.56 is on the way ordered it on the 30th. For guns a Smith 629 and a Colt Python with machining lever rifles. Got 4 ARs and a AK so I might pickup some odds and ends but I'm gonna wait til Sept on that. One thing I will get shortly is a safe. Happy New Year!!!!!!!! BobK

My plan for this year is to build a 7.62x51 sniper rifle.  Remington 700 action (blueprinted of course) PacNor Super match barrel, Jewell trigger, McMillian A5 Stock, H&S Precision trigger guard and clip set-up, Badger bases and rings, Premier Reticles Leupold 2nd Gen Mil-Dot Mark 4 4.5x14 50mm Scope, Harris bipod.

If I do get a bonus this year I'll buy another Robinson Armament M96 Recon Carbine with an EOTech sight and an ARMs #54 quick detach mount.
In Sept when the stupid AWB ends I want to get another 25 30 round mags (Teflon finish with green followers and chrome silicone springs).

If I have any dough left I want to get a couple of Zeiss scopes one for my 30-06 Ackley Improved, and one for my 338 Win Mag.

I plan to stay on the inexpensive side so I have money when we find out whats going to happen with the ban. I have a SAR-1 ordered, and also plan on an SKS, a Mosin Nagant 91-30, a mauser (not sure which model yet), and hopefully a snubby .38 or .357. I have also been considering a blackpowder rifle.
