I got my daughter a nice Fender amp for her guitar

Wasn't really a Black Friday thing though-it just happened to arrive at Guitar Center earlier this week and I picked it up this morning.

She's going to be stoked on Christmas day, and I'm happy that it has a headphone jack

2000 rounds @ Gander Mt.  Everyone who walked by pick up 2.  The whole pallet lasted 10 minutes.  The sales guy wanted me to come in the next day and buy other stuff that would "be" on sale but I just grabbed what I needed and split to eat turkey.

Driving by Dick's this morning and it didn't look too busy so I swung in. Didn't see any Troy Carbines so I asked the guy at the gun counter. After a brief conversation with the other guy at the counter they came to the conclusion that they had two left. A third guy said they were both sold, but no one could find any proof, so....

$799.00 - $79.00 for filling out a Dick's card and using it for purchase ( along with zero interest for 6 months) = $720, also got a Dicks rewards card and earned double point s on the purchase which netted me $40.00 in gift cards and you get another $10 GC for filling out online survey. so I'm basically into it for $669.95. How'd I do?

I couldn't pass it up. Going to hopefully shoot it this weekend.

anyone else thought that this black friday has kinda blown?

10-15% off sales are kinda the norm every once in a while during the year, so that doesn't impress me.
looked through the add's here and i think there might have been 3 things total even taking alook at.
academy had half of their add as "everyday low price", even seen walmart do better in the past

I was one of those fools those got in line at Cabela's last night at 8pm and I was number 30.  Fast forward to about 4am and I noticed two guys walked up and started talking with some friends who just happened to be VERY close to the front door.  After 15 minutes I could see what they were planning, as soon as the line started moving they were going to jump in.  No f'in way.

I told 4 different Cabela's employees who said they would handle it but did not so I walked over to the Hammond police car and told him.  He said he would handle it.  Sure enough, 10 minutes before opening those two slipped under the rope and into line.  Now I and others around me are furious so I found the policeman and he walked up and pulled 'em out of line.  One kids just walked away but his partner tried arguing, no luck.

Anyway, I scored a Simmons spotting scope for 40 and 1K of AE223 for 320.  As I was walking out I saw those two guys in line waiting to get in.

I've been scouring the internet for a deal on a new scope, but haven't found anything worth whipping out the credit card.

From Atlantic British I ordered (6) 5 gal fuel cans to add to my stash & another nozzle (scored free shipping).
Thought about some generic silver bullion bars, but price is doing nothing but climb - so I'm sitting out.  If it gets high enough, might do some profit taking though

All from sitting on my couch- no way in hell I would go near any store today.
