I noticed I was ageing at 41 or 42. That's when I started to notice aches and pains.

I don't feel old but I know I am no longer young.

THIS.  And it's just the start.  30 is when the warranty runs out and small things start breaking.  40 is where you realize you're really going downhill.  50 is when the extended powertrain warranty runs out and big things start failing.

At 30 I was in possibly the best shape I've ever been in but things like blood pressure started getting high and my hair was thinning.  At 40 I was no longer as active after having retired from the military and I was slowing down and it showed.  At 50 I started getting early symptoms of the heart problems I've been dealing with for the past year and a half.

Let's face it.  Getting old sux!

A week before my 40th.  Ankle snapped like a twig.

If that didn't do it, picking up my new eye glasses (with progressive trifocals for the first time) a week ago (44 y.o.) sealed the deal.

About 48 years of age.
Stuff got harder all of a sudden.
Working with my hands makes my thumb joints hurt.
Riding my mountain bike makes my hips and knees hurt.
And so on, and so on.

I just found other stuff to do that didn't hurt so bad.
What other choice do we have?

Just turned 40 and feel great.  Workout 4-5 times a week, drink like I'm 25 and pretty much love life.

Fuck growing up.  I might get old, but I'm not gonna act like it.

i started getting gray hairs on my head at 27, i didnt realize i was getting old until about 31 though. starting to make lists, more health problems, stuff like that. i'm 33 now and have more grey hairs than i can count. people in my family find it odd as none of them started greying to near 40. i do lead a pretty stressful life though.

You youngin's had better review and reset your lives if you're feeling "old". Seriously...

If you don't feel well, find out why and address the issue.

Sixty-six years and feeling fine.

I guess one day it will catch up but not yet.

I'm 39 and so far the only thing I've really noticed is that I have random aches and pains that I didn't used to have.  Most likely it's things I've done to myself in the past starting to catch up with me.  My wife asked me the other day if I was going to take Viagra when I couldn't get it up anymore.  I told her that all depended on if she was still up for sex at 80.

35 when I broke my back.
39 when I started getting arthritis.
40 when I needed reading glasses.
45 when I needed an occasional Viagra.
50 when I was dx'd as a diabetic.

Then I got bariatric surgery, and feel great, except for the glasses.  So, I'm getting better.

TPNI;  For me it was probably 50, and that could be wrong because my memory isn't what it used to be.

I look at the scars and can't remember how I got some of them.

But the ones I do remember.....make me smile.

Some will understand about that last sentence, and some won't.

I'm 58 now, and feeling really old.

'Nuff said

37 - When the hair started going gray.
My wife has it marked in our life events calendar.

I'll be 41 in September and I'd say it came on around 38. Slightly more aches and pains, I've never worn glasses until last year and each year my eyes are a bit more degraded. My metabolism is opposite my younger years, I struggle to keep pounds off where as when younger I couldn't put weight on. Hair is thinning.

On the subject, are any of you seeing your Dr for Testosterone replacement therapy? I was thinking about getting setup on a physical and getting that checked specifically.

the body and the brain are in disagreement. The body says I'm old, the brain refuses to grow up. I think around the time I turned 45 and blew out my left knee sparring in karate, I realized I'm not 18 anymore

but a little surgery, a lot of rehab, and I'm back in Karate - a little smarter about it though.

Experiencing really low Testosterone made me feel old (I had half the T levels of a 95 year old man).  Getting my T levels corrected, I now almost feel like I'm in my mid 20's again.  There's more wear and tear on the body than back then, but my energy levels are back.

Around 55 I noticed I didn't have the physical stamina to work easily in the summer.
I've learned to work through the aches as it seems to minimize them. The biggest problem is keeping awake after 7pm when I've been at it since 4am.
Sure beats a dirt nap.

I just found my first gray pubic hair..............Either that or when I started the never ending battle with nose hair, ear hair and back hair.
