We use scopolamine here in the US as a transdermal patch for motion sickness It can also be administered in an IV form to (for lack of a better description) scramble people's brains for awhile. Precisely. I've only used it twice. Both for awake emergency trachs. Back in the dark ages, I may or may not have been familiar with a combo of IM droperidol & scop for nausea & general brain scrambling properties. There have been lots of unstable major traumas where the only anesthetic someone could survive was gallons of blood, epinephrine, and scopolamine. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile I bet you couldn't make yourself puke after drope and scope. |

You don't have to go to Columbia to find scopalamine
Datura stramonium, known casually as Jimson weed, grows naturally here in the US. |
|
Why go all the way to Columbia? Scopolamine and Atropine are found in the various cultivars of Datura Stramonium.
Just check out Erowid. Every "trip" report ends in someone waking up in the hospital with a tube in their urethra. It's fascinating how common the neverending cigarette hallucination is. |
|
My tattoo artist told me stories about he and his friend eating Jimson weed seeds once.
He said he would be smoking a cigarette, then look down and it disappeared. Partied and had full conversations with people for hours, then realized he was alone. His friend ended up going to jail because he went to WalMart and forgot which car was his, so he started trying his key in every car in the lot. |

Belladonna has some scop in it but, on the whole, is a MUCH more dangerous plant. Same family, different genus/species. |

Scop like they talk about in that video would be perfect for most arfcommers. Instead of handcuffing girls to the bar, they could just drop some in the drink and say "wanna have sex?"

Scop patches for motion sickness seem to work just fine for me. And I'm not subject to someone else's wishes when I'm wearing one.
Of course, I'm using it as directed by a physician, not chewing on some Colombian shit weed. |

i cannot count the times ive given Scope patches to my patients,...
Who could have known? |
